I'm so p*ssed right now. FedEx delivered, i ran out to grab immediately. They delivered it in the actual box. Just slapped a shipping label on it!? How dumb. Shows the contents of a XBox Series X Galaxy Edition right on it. Needless to say, I immediately noticed how light the box seemed. Bring it in and open it. No console, controller, or hardware. Replaced with several packs of baby wipes for weight. Clearly, in route, either it was a FedEx or Best Buy employee who stole it out. I contacted FedEx 1st. They "opened an investigation". Told to get in touch with Best Buy for refund or replacement. Figured it would be easy.... I was wrong. Got hung up on twice by Customer Service. 3rd tine was a charm. Lady was nice. Gave the option of refund, send replacement, or pickup at local BB if in stock. Which it was. So she created an order. Within minutes, I got notification my order was being prepared for pickup. Estimated an hour or 2. So after 2 hours I went to the store where the GM was nice but he couldnt release the console to me because it was still being "processed" and wasnt allowing him to do anything on his end. I received an email to send photos of the box delivered. So I did. No confirmation or email back from BB shipping team. Called in again and was told they would email the backend team to try and expidite things. Needless to say, I'm still out $600 and no XBox. I've been a loyal customer. Can't be this hard to replace with the console they have behind the desk for me. Then deal with your investigation or whatever they need to do. I would start by not sending expensive things in their original box that shows the contents. Maybe put the box in a generic box before sending. Like most normal companies. It's been 3 days now and crickets. Its unreal.

It worked great for about a month. The November 2024 update bricked it. I was greeted by a failed update screen saying "Something went wrong." Nothing, and I mean nothing would result in any other outcome. Restarting the console, attempting to factory reset, and attempting to install the update from a USB drive all resulted in the same error. This is an issue with the console and not the update since I have an older 1 TB Series X, and it installed the update with no issues. I'm going to see if Best Buy or Microsoft will do anything about it, but until they do, it's a 1 star.

The xbox over heated before we could download the 1st game. Now best buy says they are sold out nation wide and cant get me a replacement right now.

Absolutely THE WORST experience I've ever had buying ANYTHING. First Xbox I got was defective, looked like a return that was sold to me as new since it had a profile on it. Second Xbox that I had to pay more for, came late even through I paid for expedited shipping, and was even PROTECTED in a box. I spent dang near $1,000 dollars. And it arrived in the condition of the pictures. Absolutely ridiculous, not the $800 worth of customer service I expected.

If you live in VA dont buy this or anything from best buy because they gonna sell you a system with rips and dents all on the box. I have my system next to router with lan cable and it keeps freezing and wifi pops up and i have good wifi. The box was all messed up and now i have a none working console. They dropping boxes of this xbox

I got this for my husband for Christmas because he has been working a lot of overtime and I wanted a system that could play the latest Flight Simulator. The Galaxy one looked so cool. I bought this, a special flight stick, and the aviator edition MSFS. Christmas came and it wouldn’t connect to a monitor or tv. Tried different cables, which worked with other systems. Tried all recommendations online to troubleshoot. Complete brick. I didn’t want to return it, I just wanted it to work, but Best Buy did nothing. Geek squad offered no help. There were none in stock to replace it with and not even the 1TB to grab instead. Freaking ruined what I wanted to be an amazing Christmas surprise.

I got 2 of these Xbox Galaxy and each one would not keep my head set and my controller connected to it after replacing the new Xbox head set and series pro controller replaced the Xbox and still would not stay connected. Went back to the original and have not had issues. Don't buy!!

I ordered this when the promotion was happening where you receive a $75 gift card with the Xbox purchase. Best Buy shipped the Xbox by slapping a label directly on the factory packaging instead of putting it in a shipping box. It arrived terribly damaged, as any reasonable thinking person would expect. After an hour on the phone with a customer service in another country who was hard to communicate with, they agreed to exchange the Xbox. A day later, I receive a email that the replacement order is canceled, now out of stock. I gave up and decided to try to return or exchange in store. They were also out of stock. When I returned the damaged Xbox to my nearest store (hour and a half away) they refunded a portion the Xbox cost, but forced me to keep the gift card and wouldn’t refund back $75 from the order total!! What a nightmare. They told me to contact customer service again, which I did. They agreed to refund the gift card a few weeks ago, which still hasn’t occurred. I will never buy from Best Buy again. What a mess.

I sold my regular xbox series x for this new series x 2tb but sadly ended up returning it because i dont see the price justifable for just an extra 1tb i wish it was more then just an extra tb & a splat of colors im out of an xbox now but its ok

System stopped working less than 24hrs after my son opened it for Xmas. Microsoft still makes trash I see. I will have to return it and buy the 2 year warranty. System will no longer turn on after turning it off. It was real nice to see my 8 year old cry after telling him we have to return his Xmas gift because something is wrong with it. Thanks Microsoft for your continued top notch quality.

Since I never recieved the product, and your so called investigation said I did. Fed Ex never delivered it said they did and I had to deal with Best Buy. Nobody asked me any questions just decided I must be lying and told me too bad You are out your money and get no product.. All I get when asking about it is the investigation is closed Will Never Buy From You Again and will tell everyone I know not to and why

console crashes after 5 minutes on all games. Extremely disappointed. Best buy does not have anymore in stock. Christmas gift dud. Microsoft said it would be 2-3 month turnaround after I send it in. Going to pack it up and return it

My product was left carelessly outside and was not delivered to my door per the instructions I gave Best Buy. I finally located it yesterday even though it was delivered the 3 or so they state. BEST BUY DID NOT HELP IN DACT THEY CANCELLED MY 75 dollar gift card I was entitled to!!

OnTrac delivered my box ripped open with my Xbox missing. The delivery guy must have been in on it because how do you deliver a ripped up box with CLEARLY nothing in the box??? Now I'm stuck fighting with Best Buy to get my refund. This is ridiculous and I should've never preordered this thing.

Will never ever buy from bestbuy again they use ontrac and now my Xbox is somehow gone. Was never delivered to my door tracking shows nothing. Be careful buying online from bestbuy.

$600, $100 more than normal for $50 with of extra storage? People that buy this are the same ones who cry the PS5 Pro is too expensive. Xbox is toast.

Ordered my console one the 27th of October for in store pickup on the 6th. The days of the 6th comes along and it gets DELAYED!!!!! Like seriously? So i wait until Friday the 8th and magically they have them instock, so i call the store to see if my order will be available for pick up and they tell me that they only have one more instock and that they can have it set aside for me so i tell them that i already have an order placed for that specific item and ask if it’s possible for then to just set that console aside for my order. They tell me no….. They then go on to tell me that because of the method of payment, there is nothing that they can do even though they have the dang thing sitting right there in their store and its already paid for…… so needless to say I CANCELLED my order from this horrible company…….

Honeslty not worth the price tag when it comes down to it. You arent getting anything new with this console besides just a 2TB SSD… There is 0 reason to rush out and purchase. All in all its very based
