These are great for a small patio! They've proved themselves as outdoor speakers as the heat/humidity/rain here in Miami FL is intense. overall great buy for the money. If you want something around the same size with more boom go for the Sonance Mariners for about $300. But for the price of these Yamaha'sand size I'm impressed.

Have these speakers outside in my 3 car garage, hooked up to my onkyo 5.2 they sound extremely good for how small they are, and how big of a room they're in. I would have rated 5 stars, but the brackets were a little annoying. Over all, great sound, and even better price. Highly recommend.

I really like these outdoor speakers. The price was great and they work just fine for what i wanted. I installed them outside by the pool and patio and have enjoyed them many times since i purchased them. I just wish they had a little more bass to them but i may decide to add a bass speaker later on.

The speakers out of the box are a nice quality item, easy to install and the water resistant box works well. The speakers were mounted under the eve outside, however rain water can still get on them if the wind blows just right. So far so good, the speakers are holding up and sound good.

I've had them for about a month. Installed on my garage for entertaining in the back yard. The speakers are good looking and sound good. I say good because they are not the Bose speakers that I have been putting up and taking down. The day after installing them, it started raining.. and raining, and raining. the speakers came through it perfectly (they are installed under the overhang but definitely got wet). I use them all the time and I am satisfied with the purchase. I rated 4 stars because they are not quite as punchy as I think they should be. Other than that they are as advertised.

These speakers were easy to hang. We have it outside on our shed by the pool. It provides the right level of sound and the sound is crisp. It appears to weather the ever changing seasons well.

I replaced my old outdoor speakers on the deck with these. Install was easy and i was very satisfied with the look, and sound of them.

We purchased 2 sets of these speakers on the "Christmas in July" sale. One set was to replace some old speakers so the wires were already there...took less than 5 minutes. The other set was just as easy to install after running wires in the garage rafters. The sound is great although it does lack some bass. I'm sure after some adjusting on the stereo it will be awesome. We now have tunes on all sides of the yard/garage and we love it! We like them so much that the next time they go on sale, we will pick up another pair!

These are fantastic speakers, but the ads are a bit misleading. If you look at the picture it looks like they are standalone speakers, but they aren't. They are meant to be mounted. However, i laid them on their side and they are just fine like that. They would get a five-star review excpet for that.

I needed outdoor speakers for my porch, and it was these or the comparable polk speakers right next to them. These won because they were an open box and about 40.00 cheaper. Pretty pleased with the ease of install and clarity of sound, which I took for granted since they are Yamaha. Next time around I would go with the next model up for the 6.5 woofer, these really don't reproduce the lows that well. Great buy overall.

Great set of speakers. They don't have a ton of base, but the sounds it good and works well for my back patio. They certainly can crank out the loudness if needed as well!

These speakers are to replace the expensive BOSE speakers that didn't last a season under the roof eves. We have a total of 4 pair of Yamaha's now. We thought with the upgrade of the higher wattage Bose in the patio area it would be better but we were wrong. These are the best ones for the price by far, well worth it and easy to install.

Great all-around outdoor speakers! The sound quality is exceptional especially for the price range and Yamaha has never disappointed with reliability when it comes to their products Very lightweight and easy to install definitely would recommend the speakers

I am using as surround sound speakers for an indoor 5.1 setup, purchased mostly because of size / aesthetics. Overall I am pleased with the sound, especially given the cost. Mounting on a stud was easy and the speakers seem to be of good quality.

I bought these speakers to replace 25 year-old Boston Acoustics outdoor speakers. They are performing much, much better than the old speakers, have great sound and volume. They are attractive and a good small size to fit in any patio or deck space.

For the price they have a well balanced sound. It would be nice if they put out a liilte more bass
