It's a good product for the cost. I cannot figure out how to set the time and date so it doesn't keep resetting everytime it turns back on. Overall I like it. I've caught a few incidents already.

A basic value dash cam with decent quality video. Don't bother with the assistant features for lane keeping/distance, it constantly warns that you're too close or drifting even on straight roads with no cars. I blacked the silver front out with tape so it isn't as obvious. The wifi is nice so you can see what the camera view is when it's mounted behind the rearview mirror making the display hard to see.

I wanted to find a simple Dash Cam for my 2012 Prius that was at least 1080p w/60fps recording, wifi enabled, and compact. Yi dash cam matched all of these and added it was available in different colors (other than black) and had a 32 GB PNY micro SD included! Other dash cams were priced higher than Yi with probably 1 or 2 extra features that I didn't find a good enough value. So far after over a month with me on the road it hasn't failed me and has been recording effortlessly. It does record in segments of 2-3 minutes which I thought sucked but in retrospective it was a good idea in order to make reviewing clips easier to find. Being in SoCal it gets hot but that hasn't given me any recording issues. Good buy. Wish it had touch screen but that would be another $80+ on a different dash cam.

Great camera, really easy to use, needs better wifi capabilities, otherwise a solid camera for dashboard to record drives

It's a nice camera and I like the customizations via the app. But I hate that in order to connect to the camera or even use the app, it had to be via wifi. Granted the camera produces its own wifi without internet so you can access the app and camera, but meanwhile you can't use data because the phone uses the wifi connection without internet. Would've liked it if this wasn't an issue.

I love how clear the videos are... the sounds are crisp and its easy to navigate..the only issue is that u need to set up the date each time you start the car..

Works exactly how it’s supposed to and great quality. Def worth the 5 stars. The only draw back is the battery life when it’s not on the charger is HORRIBLE. But I think I might have gotten a defective model which I will exchange. Other than that it’s an amazing camera.

Received my first YI unit and sent it back as I thought it had to be glitching out cause it was saying that I was drifting when I was stopped at a red light and that I was to keep my distance from a vehicle ahead when there were no vehicles in front of me as far as the eye could see. Received my second unit and SAME ISSUES! Camera and app work easy enough so great for that, but as far as the drift detection, which is what pushed me to get this unit over others, garbage.

Look. It might not be the top of the line but for the price it’s worth it. Nice square design. Comes with a long cable to hide in dashboard. The suction cup application is sturdy. Has good application use. Comes with a memory card! Saves you an extra $15 bucks there. I bought it on sale so even more savings. Don’t freak out when you first plug it in. It will turn off and on a couple times. Leave it to charge up basically at home with a micro usb cable. Then take it to your car to connect. Just warning you. Overall my wife and I love it
