I am new to PC Building and did a lot of research before venturing into building one and I am so glad I did; extremely happy with the outcome and proud to own one as this is the fastest PC that I have ever experienced let alone building one. This PC mainly intended for work(due to COVID-19 WFH) and for occasional gaming. This CPU is a beast in performance and can perform really well when paired with the right PC components. AMD 3rd Gen Ryzen processors are picky about RAM specs and using the ones optimzed for the X570 Motherboard (such as below) with right clock speed and network latency it does really well and the end result is a work horse. My PC runs super fast. I have not done any benchmarks yet; and am strictly speaking from a personal experience: MS office apps like word, excel just open up in a second without any lag or delay even the biggest powerpoint/excel/Word doc just opens up in a snap literally in less than 2s. For ex: I was able to install MS office from a 3.4 GB file in less than 30s tops; and the longest step in the entire process was entering the license key :) Inspite of opening several apps, multiple browser windows and playing heavy duty games like Troy,FORTNITE, Remnant, HITMAN the system still functioned very well without any lag. I have been an Intel guy for the last 20 years and this Ryzen CPU is a great leap in performance; highly recommend if you are serious about performance and have the budget for it ;) My full config is as below: Fractal Design Meshify Mini C Tempered Glass (white) Motherboard: MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk (Wifi) CPU: AMD Ryzen 3900X RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series 32GB PC4-28800 DDR4 3600MHz CL16-19-19-39 Model F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC HDD: Samsung (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe PSU: Gamemax 850W Gold+ GPU: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2060 Super Advanced Overclocked EVO 8G GDDR6 Gaming Graphics Card (ROG-STRIX-RTX2060S-A8G-EVO-GAMING)

This thing is a BEAST! I got this to rebuild my old monster AMD unit that originally sported the infamous FX9590 5.0ghz nuclear reactor of a CPU. It only took 6 years, but finally, something has interested me enough to force an upgrade. That something is the 3900X. As you can all probably guess, this thing blows the old 9590 out of the water. Plus, I don’t need to nearly burn down my house to do so! I’m mainly using it to render cineform 5.6k 360 video, and it does it with ease. Temps never exceed 80c with my 240mm AIO, even under heavy load and stress tests. I’ve had no issues running premiere pro, fusion360, and simplify3d all at once. If you are doing any type of creative or production work, I highly recommend this CPU!

I purchased this as an upgrade to my previous Ryzen 2700x CPU, and it's a huge improvement. More cores for encoding video and processing images and higher clock speeds. It actually scored higher in some benchmark tests than my 16 core Threadripper system. I've also noticed higher frame rates when gaming as well, so that's a bonus. It does get a bit warm and while the include HSF is adequate, I would recommend a better solution like an AIO water cooler, and make sure that your case has good ventilation and air flow. All in all, I'd highly recommend it if you do any kind of CPU intensive work or you're a hard core gamer. You won't be disappointed!
