With 10 outlets, I have more than enough for all of my equipment. I have this model for 2 years and it has been very reliable. When I needed an additional unit, I purchased the same model again. I did have a minor problem with the new unit, but APC was very fast in resolving the issue and sent out a replacement without hesitation. I only buy APC equipment for the best quality and best service.

I've only had this particular AVC 750VA Battery Backup for a few months, so I can't say anything definitive about its durability. However, it's sitting next to an APC 650VA unit in my home that has been in continuous operation for 15 years with only a battery replacement every 4-5 years to keep it going. That track record plus my experience with the reliability of APC UPSes on my computers at work over the years, gave me enough confidence in the brand to buy another APC unit.
