I already own 2 other APC battery backups, the larger ones (1000 and 1500). They are reliable and that's important to me- I live in an area that has high winds and lots of power "dips" and short outages. Every time they kick in as they are supposed to do, so I thought I'd buy a third one, the 750 unit, for my large TV set up. I got tired of the cable data disappearing for every power dip, and the 5 or 6 minutes it would take to reboot the cable box after each one. I installed this just like a regular surge protector strip to protect a 55" TV, large Sound Bar, cable box, and PS3. 2 days after installation there was a power blink- and it worked great. The units did not skip a beat. IT's doing exactly what I bought it to do. I like the 2 sides- one for surge protection only (can use for lights, etc), and the other for surge and battery backup. I have had the other 2 units for almost 2 years and they have been used several times. This one is newer, so I cannot comment on longevity. I am happy with this purchase.

I've been using APC for years. This unit is hooked up to my TV and coax cable coming from my "roof top' antenna. I have never had a problem with protection for my equipment.

I got this using Best Buy's price match program. Was tested recently when the power went out and it kept my computer powered for at least 10 minutes before the power came back on. Worked as expected. Hopefully, the battery will last at least a couple of years before a replacement is needed.

I bought from best buy store. I was read direction and set up intall and all plug power. I love it ten power plug. help protect by weather and never know if our apartment not alway power off. i like that battery back up save by my computer won't get hurt or miss program. i really happy with this one are full success. i will install cd program relation to APC battery back up system and let they take care control in my computer or another monitor and my tv with VP too. i'm nothing worry. i beleive this works of course.

Forget all other brands of UPS APC is only brand worth looking at, just make sure you pice on to fit your needs. The are always reliable and you can replace battery once it eventually needs replacing.

I've only had this particular AVC 750VA Battery Backup for a few months, so I can't say anything definitive about its durability. However, it's sitting next to an APC 650VA unit in my home that has been in continuous operation for 15 years with only a battery replacement every 4-5 years to keep it going. That track record plus my experience with the reliability of APC UPSes on my computers at work over the years, gave me enough confidence in the brand to buy another APC unit.

With 10 outlets, I have more than enough for all of my equipment. I have this model for 2 years and it has been very reliable. When I needed an additional unit, I purchased the same model again. I did have a minor problem with the new unit, but APC was very fast in resolving the issue and sent out a replacement without hesitation. I only buy APC equipment for the best quality and best service.

If you live in an area where there are frequent brown outs, you need this. Brown outs are the main cause of damage to electronics, more than black outs. I'm using this to protect my TV from blowing out.

I've been very happy with this UPS, as I had to count on it during a power outage only a couple of days after receiving it. It performed as expected and was given the time needed to shut down my computer without worry.

This was only available online and is a shame. It has a nice amount of outlets and it compact as well. Great product!

Great Battery Backup. I picked this up to allow me enough time to save my work in the event that the power goes out. Should be capable of running my pc for a few minutes at least!

Unfortunately, I have already had to use this 3 times! But, it works like it should each time and the computer i have it hooked to never blinked.

small size and great brand. The only problem I had was that I could not turn off the beep that occured every 30 seconds while on battery power.

I purchased this item after reading many reviews, majority being highly positive. My area where I live has frequent power outages, and the last outage left me with a fried hard drive in my computer. With all the precious data lost, I was not going to let this happen again, so I searched for options to protect my equipment. I narrowed my search down to this model. I have had it now for a few months, and it has protected all of my connected equipment though numerous outages. Couldn't recomend this product more, it has become a necessity to me.

Battery backup that is tried and proven. Company that's well known and good reviews to back them up. I would get another at the price Bestbuy advertises.

No probs so far. Last apc product died after 14 years of service. Would gladly purchase any apc products again!

I bought one of these years ago and it worked so well that I bought 2 more for my other computers.

Last APC-750va lasted for 6 years so wanted to purchase the same product.

It's really hard to beat the APC brand of battery backups and surge protectors. It will do it's job of protecting your equipment. Unlike other brands I have used, the APC brand allows easy access to change the batteries inside the backup. I would definitely recommend this product and any other APC brand battery backup or surge protector.

Well worth the cost, simple to install and reliable.
