Great Utility Laptop
I have owned the 2019 MacBook Pro 16" for a year and love it. The case is solid and great looking. The keys are still working properly. I love that it has a physical ESC key opposed to a virtual key on the touch pad (which I do not find very useful). Since I was already spending a pretty penny on it, I increased the memory and SSD size to help extend the life of usage and I am glad I did. The MacBook Pro has handled every task very well that I intended to use it for (which is anything that is not video intensive). I only have two disappointments. The first is, I wish they offered a stronger video card. It doesn't do a very good job of video processing. I still have to use my Windows with NVidia 1080 to get a quality video encoding. I don't play games on this Mac for the same reason. But not a deal breaker for me since I knew this when I bought it. My second disappointment is the direction they are taking MacOS. They are making a robust operating system more compatible with iOS to run iPad apps. That means they are adding restrictions to the OS with every release. It is quickly exiting the developer/admin/power-user category if they continue this trend. This I did not know or understand the impact of when I bought this a year ago.

Great MacBook Pro.
Great looking laptop, super fast. Battery last a very long time. Super PowerBook when your out and about. I was so surprised how much power I had without having it plugged in.

Apple Fan
I bought this MacBook Pro laptop to maintain and extend the activities now being performed on my nine year old 15" MacBook Pro. It has served me well but is getting old and I needed more storage space and RAM size. I chose this laptop for portability while maintaining screen size... then loaded it with space and performance features I want for performing and processing audio and video projects. This new one is performing well and the older one will be used for less demanding activities.
