I have owned the 2019 MacBook Pro 16" for a year and love it. The case is solid and great looking. The keys are still working properly. I love that it has a physical ESC key opposed to a virtual key on the touch pad (which I do not find very useful). Since I was already spending a pretty penny on it, I increased the memory and SSD size to help extend the life of usage and I am glad I did. The MacBook Pro has handled every task very well that I intended to use it for (which is anything that is not video intensive). I only have two disappointments. The first is, I wish they offered a stronger video card. It doesn't do a very good job of video processing. I still have to use my Windows with NVidia 1080 to get a quality video encoding. I don't play games on this Mac for the same reason. But not a deal breaker for me since I knew this when I bought it. My second disappointment is the direction they are taking MacOS. They are making a robust operating system more compatible with iOS to run iPad apps. That means they are adding restrictions to the OS with every release. It is quickly exiting the developer/admin/power-user category if they continue this trend. This I did not know or understand the impact of when I bought this a year ago.

Great looking laptop, super fast. Battery last a very long time. Super PowerBook when your out and about. I was so surprised how much power I had without having it plugged in.

I bought this MacBook Pro laptop to maintain and extend the activities now being performed on my nine year old 15" MacBook Pro. It has served me well but is getting old and I needed more storage space and RAM size. I chose this laptop for portability while maintaining screen size... then loaded it with space and performance features I want for performing and processing audio and video projects. This new one is performing well and the older one will be used for less demanding activities.

I was due for an upgrade to my smaller 2012 MBP. It has held up very nicely, I even upgraded the RAM to max out at 16GB and internal drive to a 1TB SSD. But even with those upgrades, my MacBook pro was starting to show some signs of aging. When u heard about the new keyboard mechanism and the upgraded cooling system in the 16" over the previous years models, I was less resistant to the price. The i9 and upgraded graphics card also helped me decide on upgrading. I love the fact that it is so much bigger than my 13", but weights the same, and is just as portable even with the larger footprint.

Super fast! I love the Touch Bar. I love the other Catalina Feature has not avail in the MacBook Pro such as side car. Great investment. I won’t need another for 10 years.

Perfect laptop from apple for programming, especially for running multiple applications. If you are building data science models, I would say go for 32 gb RAM

From the new colors to choose from to the redesigned keyboard and trackpad, Apple's done it again with the 16” MacBook Pro. Everyone has their brand that they love, but I have just converted from Microsoft Windows to Apple's IOS system. It's just more elegant than ever!!

This is the 3rd MacBook Pro I've owned, each lasted over seven years. The transfer of data from the old laptop to the new one worked flawlessly with the Migration assistant. Love the feel of the keyboard and the display looks amazing. Highly recommended.

The configuration I bought helps me in video / photo editing. FCP and PS flows through like breeze. Screen is great. Most notable improvement is the KEYBOARD !! that alone is worth the upgrade from any models released after 2014 !

The memory upgrade was 100% needed so that I can be able to work with the unit and the video memory in a way that using my camera was easy and fun with photoshop I would recommend

This 16" MacBook Pro replaces my 7 + year old 13" MacBook Pro. Both are great products. The 13" is a little more portable, but everything else, the 16" is the way to go. Not that technology has changed that much in 7 years, but bigger, better, faster is a constant refrain. You'll be very happy with this laptop!

Can open at least 500 chromes at once. Great screen

I been using Apple products for a lot of years, but this laptop its the best one i love it.

I grew up using apple products since the Macintosh II. My 2013 MacBook Pro was showing its age. Even with all the current upgrades I did on it. I was not feelin the weird keyboard from the previous generations so I opted to wait. I now have almost half a year using it (I’m a graphic designer and create video content). This MacBook is back on track as being the king of laptops. I highly recommend.

Best laptop / computer ever. Pricey but tons of storage and memory. Clean, simple, and lightning fast!

It very light and fast. I am impress that it is not promoted much. I like the fingerprint! No more having to type my passwords.
