When it comes to smart watches, there really is no competition. The Apple Watch simple dominates the segment and the 3rd gen with cellular is a big step forward but at the same time an incremental upgrade. The big step is battery life, with normal to moderate use it goes easily 2 to 3 days on a charge. My first gen could only make it about 12 to 15 hours or about 1 days use. Things open much faster over the first gen, but if your coming from a second gen you might not notice much difference. It sucks you have to pay an extra monthly fee ($10) on your cell bill for the Apple Watch, but if you’re ever in a situation and you lose your phone and you only have your watch to make a call I guess it’ll be worth it.

This is my first Apple Watch, so I'm not an expert. The adjustable velcro strap fits my very small wrist. So far, my Pandora app will not work when separated from the iPhone.I did a Nike Run last night and it tracked distance, calories, heart rate, and cool down nicely. Siri has been offline a few times, so I will have that checked at T-Mobile. The battery life of the watch is good, but it does run down the iPhone battery. One cool thing I have discovered is that the camera app on the watch is linked to the phone camera kind of like a remote shutter. The Apple Pay worked perfectly.

I was hesitant to buy the apple watch series 3 at first because I wasn't sure if I would like it. I have had a FitBit forever so that is what I'm used to. I decided to buy one and I really do like it! It has everything my FitBit had + more. My only complaint is I wish the battery on the apple watch series 3 lasted a little bit longer. It normally will last a day and a half, and I was used to 3-4 days on my FitBit. Other than that, it's perfect. I bought the watch that had the cellular option so now I only pay an extra $10 a month on my phone bill (I have Verizon) to be apple to make calls/texts. I am an avid runner so the option to go running without my phone because the cellular allows the GPS to work on it's on was a big seller for me. The moving backgrounds you can chose for the watch faces are super cute as well like the Toy Story clock face. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase, I'd recommend this product :)
