I bought this 24" monitor as a second monitor to use next to my iMac. My ancient 19" LCD monitor was not compatible with the new Netflix movie-watching software, so it gave me an excuse to upgrade. To connect the new monitor to the iMac, all I needed was an HDMI-to-Mini-Display-Port adapter (which I also bought from the Best Buy web site) and it worked perfectly. The Asus picture quality is great, and it has the DVI, VGA, and HDMI ports that I wanted. With 1080p resolution and built-in speakers at a very reasonable price, I am completely satisifed with this purchase.

Does a good job for the price. If you need instructions they aren't very good. Sound quality is lacking and very low. Had some desk top speakers so I used them. Nice size for the money!

My son is building a gaming computer and wanted a good monitor so I went with this one. When buying a monitor for gaming you want great resolution and a fast response time. This model offers full 1080p HD and a 2ms response time. Honestly I wanted to buy a BenQ brand monitor but it was hard to justify spending the extra money to go from 2ms down to 1ms. All in all it offers a lot of bang for the buck, lightning quick with a great picture and it doesn't hurt your wallet too bad.
