A retired septuagenarian computer professional may need more Personal Computer Power than most older people, but certainly not as much as a teenage gamer. So when my old computer became unreliable this was the perfect replacement.

I am very pleased with the performance of this computer. My husband uses it for searching on the internet. It is very fast. It is one of the most quiet computers I've ever owned. I LIKE the fact that the CD tray is parallel to the floor. This is my first ASUS--I have owned MANY HP before this and decided to make the switch when I saw the cost. (and the CD tray--I am NOT a fan of the CD tray that HP is currently putting on its computers)
