So easy to use, very simplified, it has everything

A retired septuagenarian computer professional may need more Personal Computer Power than most older people, but certainly not as much as a teenage gamer. So when my old computer became unreliable this was the perfect replacement.

I am very pleased with the performance of this computer. My husband uses it for searching on the internet. It is very fast. It is one of the most quiet computers I've ever owned. I LIKE the fact that the CD tray is parallel to the floor. This is my first ASUS--I have owned MANY HP before this and decided to make the switch when I saw the cost. (and the CD tray--I am NOT a fan of the CD tray that HP is currently putting on its computers)

this computer runs fast and quiet and cool...it is a very good desktop for the money...and it is upgradable too! the 7th generation processor is just what I needed!

Needed a standard PC for some light office work and found this one for a good price to performance ratio. A few minor upgrades and this thing could honestly be as good as most high end PCs for less. Really wish it would have had a SSD for the boot drive but still pretty fast for a mechanical drive.

My old small business computer crashed, and I was in desperate need of a small business computer that was not to expensive ,yet comparable to what I had before. I am not a techie however, I did read some reviews on the internet. I liked all the functions offered and it was an easy setup. I have been using it for about 2 months now and it does everything my old HP did and more.

My Asus desktop is very fast at booting up and is very easy to set up and use. The only negative to this desktop is that it is big. It's about 3 times bigger than my old desktop, but all the others I was looking at were even bigger. Usually never stuff is made smaller but this does not hold true to the new desktops on any brand.

So far so good with the Azus desktop. Boots up quick no glitches and has a good response time. I find the azus apps a little unnecessary/ redundant and have deleted them. I have loaded Microsoft office , adobe and email and works just fine. Comes with a good prosessor and enough memory to do the above mentioned.

I took this out of the box (I did make an unboxing video if anyone is interested EDIT: https://youtu.be/tTEnfK4jN3s), hooked up my monitor and the included keyboard/mouse. It went into the Windows 10 first time starting the machine configuration where you answer a few questions. After that, it downloads updates, reboots and takes you to the desktop. Off the bat, the machine felt a little slow, but I had upgraded my Q6600 PC to a SSD prior, so the spinning drive had a lot to do with the perception of slowness. There really isn't any extra crapware installed from the factory. The only additional item was some McAfee security software. I like to have Microsoft official installation media, so I downloaded Windows 10 directly from Microsoft and created a media USB drive to reinstall the OS. The cool thing is, the product key is embeded in the UEFI BIOS so you don't need to do anything when you reinstall the OS. Windows 10 detects the product key and automatically activates.

PC was faster than expected and a great deal. Came with Windows 10 pre-loaded and was easy to use right out of the box. Bought as a floor model, so price was right.

This is an excellent computer for the price. Working really well for me with my internet website building.

got to work and hard drive quit on me. Drove to Best Buy, told the salesman what I was looking for. He did not have any HP's in stock. Told me about this brand and the pros and the similarities to the HP and I was in and out of store in 15 minutes. Love the brand. Very fast. Easy to learn.

Right now, I do not have any issue with it. I can do multiple tasks without any trouble.

This is the best computer i've ever owned , easy to setup , and haven't had any problems all .

This PC so far has been very good. The only problems were that the warranty is voided if you open the case. I had a very nice graphics card so I had to break the warranty to add this to the motherboard. There were no case fans either so I had to buy some. There were two fan areas that support 92 mm fans (this measurement was hard to find!) and I had to order those fans because Best Buy didn't carry that size. Once I got the fans and graphics card in, I can play WoW on ultra settings with little fps issues or heat issues with the positive airflow setup with the dual fans. I have heard ASUS motherboards are great for gamers, it is unfortunate though that they void your warranty if you upgrade the system. The tower had plenty room for my Gigabyte Radeon RX480 card and it fit snuggly on the motherboard. Other than those few issues the PC has been running fabulously.

Asus sure does make great products. This fast, and quiet computer is worth the buy.

I bought my first ASUS computer four years ago. It had an i7 processor and has been very reliable. As the older one was getting tied up by family business, I wanted a separate PC for surfing, light gaming, and streaming videos. This new i5 has fast boot up, is fairly quiet, and had just a small amount of easy to turn off bloat ware. It's also giving me a chance to learn Windows 10 (which took three hours to update). Otherwise, no problems whatsoever and I can easily recommend it.

This does just what we need it to do at the office. Fast and reliable.

The computer is great for the price point. However, Best Buy shipped me a PC that I purchased as new only for me to discover a Windows profile for someone else already existed on the PC. I obviously received at the very least a used / returned hard drive if not the whole PC.
