Customers praise the X-Star Premium Quadcopter for its amazing camera quality, ease of use, and reasonable price. The drone's flight performance and bright color are also well-received, along with the inclusion of a nice case and a well-designed remote control. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the short battery life and limited range of the drone.
After having numerous flights with this Autel X-Star premium, I feel I can give an honest review. While there is hype with a lot of reviews this one is just plain solid from a performance standpoint. Rock steady video and most times I can keep the front props from being in the video footage. As far. And the 4K, if you have something which can play 4K you are golden. The only issue I have had since owning this drone has been An issue with waypoints and the restrictions set by software. Have called Autel a couple of times and calls are answered promptly and thouroughly. Easy to control with good battery life giving me around 23 min of flight per battery usually. High winds and flight activity can drain battery quicker. Not only would I recommend this to a friend, I have already recommended it to several friends.

I purchased this model as an upgrade from the Parrot Bebop I've been flying for over a year. The differences between the two are mind blowing! I honestly don't think there's anything better in its price range. I extensively researched all of the models offered in its category, but none of them could compare to this one. I consider this a direct competitor to the DJI Phantom 3 Pro, based on specifications.

If you are looking for a quad this is the one to get. I have had mine about 6 weeks now and it is easy to fly, has a super great camera and the tech support is the best. When I got mine the 64gb micro SD card that comes with it was dead, I called T/S and I had a new one in my hands in three days. The sunset pic is a screen capture from a video shot @ 4k.
