So far I am loving my new therapy lamp. It is super easy to setup and super easy to use. The lamp comes in a very low profile box and it is hard to believe a lamp is inside. You take it out, unfold it and place a base onto it. It then stands on a desk much like any other folding adjustable lamp. You plug in the power cord to the back and you are ready to go. You push a touch sensor button to turn it on and push again for up to 3 brightness settings. I keep it next to my laptop when I am working at my desk and it provides perfect illumination on the lowest setting. The highest setting is very bright and will actually provide excellent illumination when working on something in great detail where you need a lot of light. It is very sleek and looks modern when working at a desk. A desk should have a modern look in my opinion considering you will likely have a computer and other tech devices, so the lamp should be no different. As far as therapy goes, I can easily see how this works. It provides a pleasant glow that is different from a typical lamp or light. it is a nice soft glow that just feels nice while you are near it. I actually feel calm while I am working under it. In fact I am calm as I use it while writing this review. You will have to use it to see what I am talking about. I highly recommend this lamp if you want to have a nice looking modern lamp that provides plenty illumination with a calming effect.

--- Installation--- This lamp is easy to install. It includes a base that can be connected at the bottom allowing it to stand on its own. From there, plug in the included power adapter, remove the transparent protective film, and you’re set. --- FEATURES --- This lamp is meant to mimic daylight. It is slim, easy to store, and adjustable. It doesn’t occupy a lot of desk space and has 3 dimmable options. --- PERFORMANCE --- The lamp is bright! The three dimmable options start with the brightest, then it lessens with each button press. However, even the dimmest option is really bright, especially if the lamp is angled in a way where you can see the light directly (not recommended). It will literally brighten your day when in use. The purpose of the light is to make you feel more alert by mimicking daylight. To that extent, it works...somewhat. --- EXPECTATIONS --- I installed this lamp in an area of our home where there is no outside light. Compared to the other lights in the room, it is definitely the brightest. However, the disparity between this light and the other lights create an uneven experience and can be disorienting to use. Though one of the features of this light is its convenience in size, it also prevents it from fulfilling the light needed on it’s own for my entire workspace, which is a corner desk with 3 computer monitors. I can be moving the light to focus on what I need to focus on, but that means spending time adjusting the light as needed. In terms of alertness, I did feel a bit more alert while using the lamp, but only for a small burst of time. Eventually, my tired body gives in no matter how bright the light is. --- VALUE --- For the price, the lamp doesn’t take much space and it is very bright. --- APPROVAL --- I recommend this lamp for people who know they will have one specific focused area where they will be working (taking notes / doing homework) but if you use a lot of desk space, you might need more than one.
