They are great. I upgraded from 8gb to 32gb by installing these, and it's like a completely different experience using my computer. They were easy to install, but not without hiccup (my bad). If you have installed them correctly, both light strips will be on and they will be very bright. I had one of them upside down and it was really dim, which didn't bother me until i realized that the computer was only using 16gb of ram from the other card. After playing around with it a bit, I got it set up properly, but I thought I'd share my experience. Confession: I only bought these ones because the store didn't have a set without and I was being impatient. My computer is placed where I can't even see inside of the case, which is why I didn't care that one of them was lit up dimly at first. If you want the aesthetic, these are totally worth it though. Looks great and the preformance is great.

I originally had a couple of cards that were practically the same model, but 8GB each. They were great but I work in speech science and machine learning; I had a number of occasions where I exhausted my memory training a DNN or compiling a language model, so I swapped them out for these. I haven’t noticed a difference in performance, other than not having model builds crash. I expect that I’ll be buying this again at some point to grant me a solid 64GB. The RGB may not be for everyone, but I think it’s fun when used in moderation. iCUE is nice for synchronizing the various RGB components. Although iCUE is only supported on Windows and my fans and CPU cooler forget their settings when I load in linux, the memory cards maintain the RGB setting they had when I was in Windows.

I've been a fan of Corsair for a long time. When I needed to build a new gaming PC last month, I looked at Corsair first. This set of RAM is at a good price point and I love the RGB look! I've run into no problems playing games ranging from Guild Wars 2 to Dual Universe and Star Citizen. In fact, with GW2, I can have my seven accounts all running at the same time and with full graphics! This is with an older RTX 1060 GPU. I might get a second set of this RAM kit and bump my rig to 64 GB :)
