Works great
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I originally had a couple of cards that were practically the same model, but 8GB each. They were great but I work in speech science and machine learning; I had a number of occasions where I exhausted my memory training a DNN or compiling a language model, so I swapped them out for these. I haven’t noticed a difference in performance, other than not having model builds crash. I expect that I’ll be buying this again at some point to grant me a solid 64GB. The RGB may not be for everyone, but I think it’s fun when used in moderation. iCUE is nice for synchronizing the various RGB components. Although iCUE is only supported on Windows and my fans and CPU cooler forget their settings when I load in linux, the memory cards maintain the RGB setting they had when I was in Windows.

How ram saved Christmas
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. So I ended up buying these on a whim one day I had a vengeance LPX. And then I decided that 32 gigs just wasn’t enough for my Ryzen 7 also my invention sell PX I had 48 gigs sticks so when I bought these two I didn’t realize that you can’t have 2x8 gig sticks and 2x16 gig sticks. I ended up going to my favorite Best Buy in talking with one of the guys at geek squad and bringing in my machine purchasing total tech-support and I got the real lowdown on how things work. First off I should’ve been watching more videos and specifically videos on how ram works because even if you buy a two pack if you want to go to a four you really should buy a four pack they will work but not as possibly stable. So not only was I running two different types of RAM the vengeance LPX and the vengeance pro RGBE but also I was running 3200MHz and I was also running 3000 MHz!!! Thank God I decided to go to that other store and now that store is my favorite store and I will be going to that location every time

Works Great and Looks Great!
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I had the black version of this RAM (16gb) for a while and decided to sell it to upgrade to this. So far, it looks soooo nice with my white case and other Corsair products! It's really easy to customize and work with in the iCue software. I also tested it out to make sure it's functional and so far seems really good. If you want nice looking RAM that work well, I'd recommend this!

Can never go wrong with Corsair
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.Originally bought these as a temp solution until I could get the non-RGB kits to match my other 16GB 8GBx2 that I have in both of my main systems. Long story short, I ended up with two of these kits. One 32GB 16x2 and a 16GB 8x2. I’ve been using Corsair Vengeance LPX since DDR3 and they always deliver. I just wish I had got lucky enough to get Hynix ICs like my non RGB kits but these worked fine. OC’d to 3666Mhz on the 3200 XMP running 48GB. Paired with the rest of my system my benchmarks stayed in the top 1%. And to be honest, they look amazing.

solid memory
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This is some great looking memory, I will give it that. I selected this knowing that corsair has great build quality and just makes high quality stuff. Paired this up with my new pc build running a 9900k, MSI MEG ace motherboard, rtx 2080 super, and a 970 evo + hdd. You can probably find faster memory for a better price but I guess for the sweet RGB this kit looks awesome and I was willing to pay a little more for it. Upon the first boot, I noticed the memory was stuck running at 2300mhz. Okay no big deal, I forgot to turn on the xmp profile for the memory overclock. That should fix the speed to 3200mhz which my computer recognized it should be at automatically. Every time I tried to do this the overclock would fail and it would resort back to 2300mhz. I tied different voltages, messing with the timings manually and it just would not run at the correct speed. I finally ended up raising the voltage up higher then the corsair specs listed and running at 2900mhz, but it wasn't 100% stable. A little frustrated, and googling this issue it seems it is a little common. I ended up going back to bestbuy and getting a replacement and the new kit fired right up and took the xmp profile with no problem running at 3200mhz stable. So, if anyone is having a issue with this running at the wrong speeds, take it back for a exchange! Overall its great memory, timings are fast, and looks slick in my case. I would buy it again.

||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.MSI X570 build with Ryzen 3700X - this was in the top of the list of recommended DIMM pairs for the build. Done. Works great, lights are entertaining but can be shut off.

Q: QuestionWhat does unbuffered non-ecc mean/does it have any effect on me if all I will be doing is gaming and some 2D graphic design?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer ECC Ram is for Servers. All it is is error checking done in RAM. You will want none ECC for your purposes.

Q: QuestionHello! I have an AMD Ryzen 3700X with a Gigabyte Motherboard B450M-DS3H-WiFi. Would this RAM be compatible. I see some sites telling me yes and some that are telling me to refer to the QVL from Gigabyte. I checked it and this isn't on there.
Asked by TheHouseOfTom.
- A:Answer Hello, It would be! Just make sure to update your motherboard to the latest bios version. If you have anything else we can help with, please reach out: support.corsair.com -Art

Q: QuestionCan you buy 2 packs of these and upgrade ram to 64gb? Or will that cause problems with your PC since they are not a 4 pack?
Asked by Michael.
- A:Answer Michael, The answer to your question is a bit tricky as it is more than just a simple yes or no answer. There are things that you need to consider. The short answer to your question is no. If you buy two packs of two 16GB sticks of ram of the same brand, model, frequency, and timing, etc. to increase to 64GB of ram it will not cause any problems, however, there are a lot of caveats to that. First question you need to ask is does your motherboard support 64GB of ram? If so, am I going to see any sort of diminishing returns for having all of my ram slots filled vs. only two of them being filled? Yes, this is an issue that has been seen with the Ryzen 3000 series processors. It has been shown that having all four ram slots filled will actually cause your ram to not function at full speed. Also take into consideration needing to have some hefty airflow in your case to cool all of that ram and those lovely led's. Does your motherboard actually support this speed of ram natively or do you have to overclock to get these speeds? This one might not be so much of a problem with some of the automatic overclocking tools coming included in the bios of a lot of motherboards in this era. However, if your motherboard doesn't have such tools this might become problematic if you are not entirely familiar with the intricacies of overclocking which could cause damage to your system. Just a few things to take into account when deciding what, and how much, ram to get.

Q: Questionwhat is the max clock speed for this ram set.
Asked by preorder.
- A:Answer 3200 mhz stock. If you are talking about overclocking, it depends on the chips on your actual kit. If you look at the sticker on them (even without opening the package, you can look at the back of the kit), it will say "Ver x.xx". That tells you what brand and model are the chips (some are Samsung b-die, the best, some are Hynix CJR, second best, some are Hynix AFR, MFR, just so so). Mine were ver 5.32, which looking online where Hynix CJR, so they overclock good. I have mines at 3600mhz with my Ryzen 9 (you have to dial the volts and timings, I used Ryzen Dram Calculator to dial them in) and are rock solid.

Q: QuestionI have a Gigabyte Z390 UD motherboard and the Intel Core i9-9900K Processor. is this Memory Kit compatible or do i have to stay with the DDR4 2666...? Motherboard supports up to DDR4 4266 yet the Processor specs only mentions up to 2666, confusing!
Asked by RamUpgrade.
- A:Answer The speed supported is actual determined by your motherboard. The speed INTEL rates it at is just the default supported without XMP. To use the RAM at 3200MHz you will have to enable XMP in BIOS and select the rated speed the RAM is set too.
