Hi, CPU would be fine, but that motherboard doesn't support neither the CPU nor the memory. If you have anything else we can help with, please reach out: support.corsair.com -Art

They're two entirely different chipsets designed for two entirely different series of CPU's. I'd advise you to go onto Facebook, and join the Ryzen Master Race, or My Extreme PC groups and seek advice there. There are numerous trolls within them, but users such as myself are there, and always happy to help novice builders enter the territory to pump their fists in the air with excitement and say "I JUST BUILT MY FIRST PC!" For that CPU you'd want at MINIMUM a B450 chipset - but an X470 would be ideal as it has the VRM's necessary to handle the watts that CPU consumes, while most B450's dont. The tomahawk 'recommended' below really isn't one I'd recommend, but I would recommend the MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC or any of the well-reviewed X470's on Newegg[dot]com.
