I have seen people using Gimbal and I have always wondered what those were. I didn't knew what it does, all I knew & thought was it has got a camera and high quality selfie stick. During this thanksgiving I noticed this is BestBuy and started reading reviews, and ended up buying the same. I have been using Go Pro camera for the past few years and always thought those were great, and always had felt would have been better if the stabilization is good. After starting to use OSMO I am very happy with what it does. I have a son and its helpful to shoot videos and DJI app is awesome to quickly edit and share it in Whatsapp. Recently I upgraded to OSMO+ and its been good. And I am very happy with my purchases. It would have been good if these are waterproof or at least shatterproof. The device is very friendly to use and easy to learn and get used to. I get everyones attention when I hold this and walk. Not much people own this as of now. I love this product, its bit pricy, but worth it.

The Osmo is a great intro gimble system. It's not perfect, but -depending on your use of the item- it has a lot of positives. I would recommend this for certain uses and not others. I use it for real estate and it works well. The bad: -If your looking to 'go live' on social media, this isn't the platform for you. You have to connect your phone or tablet to the wireless signal of the osmo, leaving cell signal strength only. This doesn't work for me, as I work in a metal building. -There when panning, you will sometimes experience a jerk. as if it can't turn any more (yet it can). -Joystick to move the osmo needs improvement. often when I want a slow pan, it slips and speeds up the shot and just swings around at high speed. You have be be very careful with the joystick if you use it. -Sound is terrible built in. requires external mic. (1/8 input is available on device) GOOD If you'r looking to do interior of homes or businesses, this is a good option. I'm using it for real estate walkthrough videos. -Super easy to use -crisp picture. 4k looks good -decent app that allows for panning and focusing -some manual control over video picture -good gimble for walking around

Pros: Nice video quality (4k, 2.7k, 1080, 720) Nice photo quality (provides RAW and JPG) Video settings provide within the DJI app provide you with a number of different options to where you can color grade footage in post-production software Gimbal stabilizes most motions (Doesn't stabilize Z axis, there is an accessory though) Light-weight and portable Easy-to-use controls Full manual control (via DJI GO app) Extra accessories provide flexibility in creating a rig suitable for your filming needs (extension arm, hot shoe mounts, stand, etc.) Cons: Poor low-light performance - very noisy Poor audio quality (recommend external mic) Battery life is ok, (buy an extra) DJI app can drain your phone battery pretty quickly - recommend picking up a portable charger Extra accessories - Although your'e pretty good right our the box, you end up spending a lot more on other accessories; stand, ext. arm, hot shoe mount, larger case, etc. Overall, the Osmo is a great camera stabilizer option from novice to pro. If you would rather use your phone's camera to take video, the Osmo mobile may be a different option.
