Customers highly value the Switch+ Smart Light Switch for its ease of use and installation, as well as its motion sensor and night light features. The Alexa integration and speaker quality are also appreciated by users. However, some customers find the price to be a bit high and have concerns about compatibility with certain wiring setups. Additionally, a few users have reported issues with the size of the switch, WiFi connectivity, and scheduling capabilities.
Got it as a free bee with another purchase. Added it to the one switch that got left on over and over again in my home. Took about 15 min to install about 5 to link up to Alexa and about 25 min to go thru and full program. The light now activated with motion and shuts off after 3 minutes of no motion. Another big plus you can talk to Alexa at the switch. A little hard to see in the second picture, but it has a night light!!! Definitely a major GO!!! Highly recommend it!!!!!

It's a real exciting combination of a few smart home devices in a single package. Smart switch that is controllable via most of the voice activated platforms - HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, it's a motion detector and occupancy sensor that can turn itself on or off depending on room occupancy status, it's a timer that can be set to turn light on at sunset and off at sunrise (for the outside light), it's an automatic night light and it's a smart speaker with integrated Amazon Alexa in it! HomeKit integration is nicely done - switch is represented by 4 HomeKit accessories - Light switch itself, Motion sensor, Occupancy Sensor, Light level sensor. That alone opens a way for many HomeKit based automations! Installation process went very easy, just follow the instructions, there are 4 wires coming out of a back of the device - ground, neutral and 2 black wires which could be connected to line and load, you don't even have to figure out which wire in a box is a hot one! Switch comes with a very nice screw-less plate but could be installed with a regular plate as well in a multi-gang box. Integration with Ecobee account, HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Home services went without a problem. HomeKit pairing code is printed on the front of a quick start guide and also on the back of a wall plate. Speaker quality is good for the size, I would not play music on it (it sounds like if you would play it out of a speakerphone), but Alexa's voice is very clear. Switch has 2 microphones on the bottom and microphone sensitivity is enough to hear me 20 feet away. There are 2 hardware buttons on top - microphone off (switch glows red if microphone is muted) and "attention" just in case you would like to trigger Alexa without saying her name. One point that I did not like is that pig tails on the back of a switch are just 18AWG wires. Switching capacity is just 600W incandescent or 150W CFL/LED so make sure not to power anything larger than that, definitely no motors! Otherwise I like this smart switch a lot, it's a great value for the money providing you with at least 6 devices in a single package.

Alexa at the switch is cool, and she connects like any other alexa. Smart switch is cool, like any other in function. But the integrated night light and motion light with options for when to come on how to come on etc, and the "find me" feature were ecobee taking this above and beyond.
