Excels for its cost!
The Epson Artisan 1430 has excellent image printing quality. It really has gone over my expectation specially for the price. I purchased it over a month ago and its ink usage has been great. I just purchased a CIS System for the Epson 1430 since I do a lot of printing. Hopefully it will continue to print great images. I definately purchase more of these printers in the near future and would recommend for personal or business use.

Fantastic printer at any price!
I now have three Epson photo printers. This latest one is the model 1430. It is relatively compact, thrifty on ink, and extremely easy to use. I have only one complaint. The information supplied on the Best Buy website stated that Adobe Software is included with purchase. I can not find it and no one seems to be able to help. I would like an explaination concerning the software. Thank you.

great quality, easy to set up
This printer was very easy to set up. It prints great images so now my wife can print our her digital scrapbooking layouts.
