Customers highly value the excellent video quality and ease of installation of the Smart Wi-Fi Add-On Video Doorbell 2K. However, some users have noted that battery life could be improved, and motion detection sensitivity may need adjustment depending on individual needs and placement. The battery's longevity appears to be affected by the frequency of motion detection events. Overall, the positive feedback on video quality and ease of use outweighs the concerns regarding battery life and motion detection.
This doorbell works well. Easy to set up. I already have the Eufy Home base for my home security camera. So, this doorbell is just an add on device. Basically, this doorbell has very clear image. I used to have the Ring doorbell. This Eufy doorbell is very much better than the Ring I have. There is always a 5 seconds delay for this wireless device. It is happened to my Eufy security cameras, too. I don’t know if the wire device responses quicker. The battery is being drained so quickly because there is a lot traffic in front of the house. Just after 3 weeks, I have to recharge the battery. Therefore, it depends on how you set it up in order to maintain the battery longer. Since I have the Eufy security camera, I don’t need to detect any motions from my doorbell. So, I just set the motion detection off. It only detects when a person press on the doorbell button. It is much improved when I set up that way. After 3 weeks, it shows 96% of the battery uses.

I've had the doorbell for a while now and i've noticed that the battery life has gotten better over time. I have it set to the "Balance Surveillance" mode in Power Manager. I am able to get 3 months on a charge and there is a lot of traffic on my front door. According to the app, the last 28 days there have been 1193 total detected events and 611 of those have been saved, the rest have been filtered out by AI. I like how it ties to the door lock as well so if I have the camera on and a family member is at the door I can just flip a switch to unlock the door for them. I haven't had any issues with it at all and if I did it's because my wifi wasn't working but nothing to do with the doorbell itself. It also has two way voice communication so you can talk to the person before you answer the door, great for randoms coming up. It has a wide enough viewing angle that it detects people before they even get to the door. When amazon delivers something i feel a bit more assurance as people walking by know the camera is recording them. Overall, I would definitely recommend the doorbell, set up couldn't be easier and it's been very reliable. I do wish it displayed to a google hub or something similar, I don't think it has that ability at the moment.

I purchased a Eufy security base with 2 Pro 2 cameras so this doorbell was an add on the system. It connected to the base easily and works just as consistently as my 2 cameras. Having the option of wired or wireless was helpful and it was easy to hook this up to my doorbell wiring. Both motion and doorbell press notifications work well and the app allows for lots of customization options and even works with my preexisting doorbell chime. Only issue I have is the range of motion detection. It can't detect much motions lower than 2-3 feet. I've had the neighbors kids run up on my porch undetected one time (I heard them & saw them thru the widow but no motion detection). Otherwise, package deliveries & motions have been caught with generally no problem.
