The GE 3-outlet wall tap surge protector works well. Because it plugs directly into the wall outlet, no cords are in the way. It looks much neater and has room to charge 3 items at once.

the protected light turns on and it holds 3 plugs. what more can you really say about a surge protector since you never know if it works until you need it.
