I bought it for our family vacation. Video quality is not as good as my DSLR camera. However, it is low profile, and we could use it anywhere even in public. My only problem is I get hard time connecting it to GoPro phone app. I sometimes could not connect at all. Other than that, I really like the camera, and we are keeping it for next vacation.

I used the GoPro5 for my first ocean scuba dive and I could not have possibly been happier. Pictures and video were crystal clear. Looking through the shots and clips, makes me feel like I'm back underwater.

We bought this camera to use snorkeling in Iceland and we were both please with this purchase. The photos turned out beautifully (we also bought a filter).
