This is a great desktop computer, in that it runs fast, has a 1T hard drive, and a 2.4G processor, plenty of memory, came with a mouse and keyboard, and I hooked up my existing monitor. It is easy to use. I will be happy when Microsoft comes out with Windows 10, and I will download and install it. My last PC was a Vista, so adjustments are required to get used to it.

We bought this computer to replace our five year old one. I love the smaller thumb print. It takes up half the space of our old computer. But yet it's much faster and has a bigger hard drive. It's a little difficult moving from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1. Iam not fund of that but am told Windows 10 will be out this summer and we will be ableto get a free up grade. I will be looking forward bto that. I would recommend this computer to family and friends that are not into gaming.

My HP with Windows 7 had died, and I thought this computer was a great price (on sale) for 8GB RAM and 1 TB hard drive. It's quick to boot up and functions well. I really didn't want to have to use Windows 8.1, but I found a program to simulate the functions of Windows 7, so I'm happy with that. What I found completely lacking on this system was the cheap-o mouse that didn't work well and the lame keyboard. I rarely make mistakes on typing, and I find that I make many with the keyboard provided. I've already swapped out the chintzy mouse and am using my old mouse. When I "wheel down" on a mouse, I expect that it actually does so .. the mouse would scroll to a certain point and then no further on the screen. When I swapped out my old mouse, I didn't have that issue. I don't want to bother returning the product, so I'm just using my old mouse. If I don't get used to the keyboard, I'll use my old one as well. I was a bit disappointed to see HP's quality substandard for the accessories. Just my opinion, but it seems like HP cheaped out on those two items. I'm happy with the computer, though. I usually have several windows open and multitask, and this computer fits the bill.
