On the + side: - easy setup - quality of video (when connected) was decent - IR blaster worked (with a slight delay) On the - side: - Constantly losing and regaining connection - Lots of 'hung' images on screen waiting for video to get to device - Noticeable delay on remote that makes it hard to navigate menus we have probably a 40-50 foot run from the TV in one room that's transmitting to the TV in another room thats receiving. its an open hallway, and no major impediments to a signal, so this does not live up to the promise of being able to send crystal clear video 150 feet, or even 50 feet.

If you have a 1080p projector this is a great option. I used this hoping to get 4k to work but it never would lock signal on the 4k player and 4k at 30 hz lag was a absolute nightmare on the computer. Overall i would only recommend this as a 1080p signal producer in the same room (at 50ft or less). But for the price it sure beats running a long cord that may still have lag issues or buying a expensive hdmi to ethernet adapter (that you would still have to run a cable). I wish a true 4k 60hz chroma 4.4.4 exsisted at this price range. Not at this time yet.

It was easy to set up and was functional right out of the box. However, the signal was not reliable across the room when the transmitter was in a closet. This unit is rated for 150 ft on a line of sight basis. I'm using it in a residence with typical wooden studs and sheet rock walls. The unit could not handle this. I returned one of these and the second one did the same thing. On the assumption that the unit was provided with 2db antennae, purchased a pair of WiFi Antenna Dual Band 7dBi 2.4GHz/5.8GHz with RP-SMA Connector and some SMA Male Plug (Pin) to RP-SMA Female (Pin) Coupling Nut Connector Adapters from Amazon for about $17 to resolve the problem. NOW it works as I intended. The product would be improved if provided with better antennae to begin with or a more practically oriented description of its capabilities.
