I live in a low area of Redondo that gets poor electronic wave reception. Old radio would only pick up a few stations and they would fade in and out. Jenson gets more stations and much clearer. No stereo or thumping base but if you still listen to Rock & Roll, you probably can't hear the difference either. Great for use in the garden.

The sound on this radio is fantastic --- needed to purchase a battery radio due to the recent power outages and we found one that has great reception and clarity of sound. It is lightweight and a great size.

Great little radio. Good sound and reception also. Can plug in or use with batteries. Really like the nostalgic look it has. Would definitely buy again if the need arises.
