I have bought lifeproof cases for all my phones in the past and loved them for there durability even though the case was thin and flexible it always provided great protection. Well this case also provides that protection and maybe even a higher level of protection but at a cost. So lifeproof was bought by otterbox and they incorporated otterbox’s hard plastic design and made this hybrid case that is a cross between the old lifeproof and the otterbox. The only issue I have found is the soft rubber is pealing off the sides from putting it in and taking it out of my side leg pocket of my pants. Epic fail here lifeproof. The button and speaker covers are all incorporated in this so very soon when the buttons peel this case will be rendered useless. Being I have an engineering background this crap makes me livid. All they had to do is put an extra channel in body of the case that would hold the protective rubber bumper the way the rubber on a windshield wiper is held to the wiper add a lil glue and bam, the rubber will stay on. So if you keep this in a loose pocket or a purse you may be fine but if it is in a tighter pocket there is a good chance the rubber will peel off a you will be disappointed.

This is my first life proof that wasn’t waterproof, it’s very lightweight and sleek. The sounds quality and speaker sounds great through the phone.

Good protection But the troublesome little door famous on all Lifeproof cases in order to charge my phone kept this from being a five star. The protection was great... the convenience not so much.
