A: When installing the phone make sure the switch is in an even line with the case.(not angled,-perfectly horizontal if on a table while installing phone.) Put the left side of the phone in first. (The side with the mute switch) then push the phone into place. This will ensure the phone is in properly. The switch toggles like a light switch. The bottom is stationary and the top moves. In a toggling motion - front to back. (When I say top and bottom of the switch : think top and bottom of phone - charge port is bottom.)(when I say front to back think screen is front.) Hope this helps
Q: Is this Lifeproof Case also Water Proof like all the others??
A: This case is NOT waterproof, but remember that the iPhone X from the factory is “Water Resistant” for up to a meter (3 feet). I’ve seen tests where they’ve submerged the iPhone X 20 feet for 10 minutes and the phone comes out perfect (you can search YouTube to see). If you want a fully enclosed and true water-proof case, your best bet is to wait for the Fre for iPhone X which theoretically should be launching any day. I’ve used this case and it is overall really nice. The problem is that it is (I’m thinking) a little thicker/wider than the Fre and the back shows fingerprints a LOT... but the Fre generally shows more fingerprints on the screen protector than the iPhone X screen itself like on this case.
Q: Will this case work with a tempered glass screen protector?
A: Not all glass screen protectors work with this case!!! I just purchased what I thought was a suitable screen protector (https://www.ecrater.com.au/p/29634204/iphone-8-7-6s-6-screen-protector-glass) but what arrived was a 3 pack of thicker, non-rounded edge glass screen protector that do no work with this case.
Q: can you still use a regular charging cord??
A: You can use a standard charging cord.
Q: Does this case work with the wireless charging?
A: This will not prohibit wireless charging.
Q: Does the case have screen protection from cracking
A: No it does not have a built in screen protector
Q: Will this case scratch the back of the iPhone like most other cases?
A: If your phone is clean when you put it in this case, it will not. This case seals around the sides of the phone and doesn’t allow dust and sand to get in. I work in the New Mexico desert region and my phone has stay pristine. It’s a great case.
Q: Will you be able to use this case with a Zagg Sapphire Defense Screen Protector?
A: Yes, I have a zagg on mine.
