“What is the waffle diameter? Are the cooking plates removable?”

The diameter is approximately 7-8" the cooking plates are not removable but, because of the nonstick coating it is very easy to wipe clean. If you are like me and want some soap and water on it once in awhile then I lay it on its side in front of the sink and I use my soft scrub brush with a drop of Dawn and warm water and I scrub it down anyway and then I take down the sink faucet and spray it and then I just hurry up and wipe it dry. And I don't get the Plug-In or anything else wet as best as I can and it's been fine the only thing is I just located it where it's supposed to spin and I had to find a way to put it back together I don't think you're supposed to lay it on its side but it's fine it still works I use it almost everyday because I love waffles. It makes big fluffy waffles.
