Hi it doesnt come with a cord. My old stove had a 3 prong cord and it worked

This unit can use either a 3 or 4 prong 240V AC connection. Your remaining question cannot be answered at this time.

Hi- GE Appliances does not package the power cord with electric free-standing ranges since it is not possible to determine the type of facilities each consumer has available or what the local electrical codes require (ex. 3-wire vs 4-wire). You will need to purchase a (UL Listed 40 AMP)
