I see that the charger comes with multiple different connectors so it can connect to multiple sources. If I wanted to put another connector on the cord that is not included with the item what type of input for this connector I want so it will work? null

The paperwork in the box gives the contact information for Insignia on how to get the correct connecter for your equipment. They will send you the correct connector after they determine what is needed.

The charger works as long as your connector prone fits having similar polarity. The worst case is to solder your connector directly. It doesn't look lovely, but the charger will work.
