• These do not have active noise canceling as a feature, however there is passive noise canceling with the ability to hear your music over the ambient noise near by. -JLab Audio

• I found they are pretty good at filtering out normal background noise; obviously not everything above normal talking is filtered out. I had no problem hearing or being heard.
