I just bought a pair of Sonance MA6GR in-ceiling speakers. When I connect to my RXA1000 (surround back ports) I get no sound at all from the speakers. I checked the pairity of the connection, and all good. My old infinity works null

I had the same problem I had my cable box straight to TV and my Audio came optical from tv to my onkyo. The fix was to go from my box to my receiver and use the receiver hdmi out to tv and they worked. Hope that helps.
