• Standard SATA drive, should be no issue, though you may want to reformat to a Linux file system like ext4 for better throughput

• It’s a standard SATA hard drive so if your system will recognize it and you partition and format it correctly it will work with any Linux including Mint.

• I'm presently using it in a Linux Redhat server, formatted to EXT4 and it works just fine. So, yes, it will.

• The Drive is already pre-formatted for Windows but I don't see a problem if you formatted it for Linux since Linux also works with the same PC Hardware as Windows.
