I have more than a few gaming mics around but only had one previous Razer mouse and that was the Death Adder (older model). Over the years one of the left macro buttons became worn out and I figured it was time for an upgrade to match my other 3 chroma devices together. I was torn between the Lancehead TE and the Mamba TE. Both have similar features and I really liked the lighting on the Mamba. However, at the Best Buy store they had the Mamba on display. My hand just was not comfortable on the mamba style. So, I bought the lancehead TE and feel I made a great purchase! The movement is oh so smooth. The lighting is bright and beautiful too. And the comfort of this mouse isnt too much different from the Death Adder. My hand fits around it well and its very comfortable. The overall look and feel of the Lancehead TE is great and this will be my mouse for years!

I really wanted to like this mouse. I thought it would replace my G403 and make me want to use Razer products again. Despite using they Razer Synapse software again just to use this mouse (I used to use the DA:Chroma regularly), the mouse was quite responsive and very comfortable to grip. HOWEVER, this mouse is quite hefty despite the advertised 104g weight on the box. Theoretically, the DA:Elite is about the same weight but the weight distribution of that mouse makes it feel light than the implementation on the Lancehead. I could aim quite well but the back of the mouse was pointing my mouse upward whenever I picked and swiped. Lastly, THE SIDE BUTTONS: they are mushy and have quite the pre-travel when actuating them. They remind me of the side buttons of the Zowie EC2-A series only these buttons are slim and quite spongey. Overall, for $80 (wired!) I was expecting maybe something that was more balanced and not as heavy. Too bad :-( I (refunded the mouse shortly after).

Very nice mouse with rgb lighting. Only thing is that it’s a little big for my hands and it’s not as easy to use as the Logitech g903
