Perfect mouse for me
|Posted .I have more than a few gaming mics around but only had one previous Razer mouse and that was the Death Adder (older model). Over the years one of the left macro buttons became worn out and I figured it was time for an upgrade to match my other 3 chroma devices together. I was torn between the Lancehead TE and the Mamba TE. Both have similar features and I really liked the lighting on the Mamba. However, at the Best Buy store they had the Mamba on display. My hand just was not comfortable on the mamba style. So, I bought the lancehead TE and feel I made a great purchase! The movement is oh so smooth. The lighting is bright and beautiful too. And the comfort of this mouse isnt too much different from the Death Adder. My hand fits around it well and its very comfortable. The overall look and feel of the Lancehead TE is great and this will be my mouse for years!

Best mouse on market

Love the hardware but I'm lukewarm on the software
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5I have small hands but am pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the Lancehead is. The fact that it has a lower arch than Razer's Mamba or DeathAdder really helps. While I disabled the right-side buttons for general use, I don't have issues hitting them accidentally while gaming, which is more than I could say for other ambidextrous mice I've used. The main point of contention for this mouse, and most other Razer hardware for that matter, is the Synapse 3 software. I think it's a case of the company trying to do too much with it, which is causing the package to become bloated and buggy. In Razer's defense, any major issues that have cropped up in my usage of Synapse have been rectified in subsequent updates, but I know lots of people continue to have problems with it. I would be remiss to mention the online/cloud aspect to the software. While it's great to have profiles stored remotely so you can transfer them to new devices and such, if the servers are down, it can lead to other problems. I would encourage Razer to give users the option to disable all online functionality from Synapse if they so choose. Still, I would rank Synapse as easier to use overall than Corsair's iCue in terms of creating custom lighting profiles and such.

My Gut 4 The Win!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI am so happy I trusted my gut and went ahead and purchased the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition mouse! I was on the verge of buying the death adder elite and for some reason I was drawn to the lancehead. I have had the mouse maybe 5 hours and this mouse is everything I could ask for and more. Its super comfy to hold and maneuver. I have super small hands to begin with and this is maybe a small to medium mouse and it fits my hand perfectly. I had the deathadder chroma once and that thing was nice also but was big so I got rid of it and went with the Corsair Glaive for about a year and just sold it and bought this and Im sure glad I did! If you are on the fence about getting this mouse, just pull the trigger and go for it!

Great gaming mouse
|Posted .I have been gaming for many years and loved my razor naga’s perfect shapes and its multi button versatility. After checking out various gaming mice for months, I did not like the new nagas shape even tho the interchangeable sides seemed like a great idea but it just didn’t feel right. So after deciding on a mouse- the razer basilisk, Best Buy did not manage to restock the mouse I wanted for 3 months. So I got a deal on the “lance head” - and what seemed like settling, became a great decision as I love the shape of the lancehead with its non slip sides. Perfect button arrangement for 1st person shooters and lightning fast response. The optical sensor on my old naga had times when it did not interpret fine color lines on a mousepad and sometimes get stuck, but it’s left button giving out was in the end why I had to part with my naga. I have not regretted my lancehead purchase for one second.

My absolute favorite gaming mouse!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendPros: This mouse feels nice to hold and the clicks are silent, yet satisfying. Plus, it has sooo much customizability in regards to what you can set all your keys to and I adore it so much. Not to mention, it being an ambidextrous mouse is pretty rad too. Cons: Honestly, if I had to pick something to complain about with this mouse, it'd simply be that it broke (but really I broke it by raging too much @ those pesky online video games). But even still, I immediately went out and got the same exact one again. 5/5 would break and get again
