I've switched to Roku streaming on all my tv's. This works well for all the ones I have except the streaming stick. That's why I gave it only 4 stars. I like that you only need one remote to control both tv and Roku box. If you need for cable box this is not for you. This is just for tv and streaming. Don't give it a bad review cause you didn't make a good choice. You don't need numbers for streaming tv apps. There are other remotes available for air, cable, and streaming. Can't beat that I got it on sale for half price.

This was purchased to replace the remote for an older Samsung TV. It is also compatible with Roku 3. The only downside is that unlike the remote that comes with Roku 3, it uses IR and needs line of sight to the box. I consider that, however, a minor inconvenience.
