If you’re looking for a lightweight laptop that handles everyday internet browsing, email, streaming, and basic tasks without slowing down, a Google Chromebook is one of the easiest and most reliable options out there.

This is an excellent computer if you can manage to use all of your applications online! It's so fast without all of the overhead related to Microsoft or Apple operating systems. While there are some applications that can be downloaded and run locally such as Spotify, Netflix, etc. - basically things that will run on your phone - things like the Microsoft 365 Suite have to be accessed via their online account. You CAN save files locally, just like you can on your phone. Startup is lightning fast, and even the browser seems to run more quickly. We use it at home and can do most of everything just as easily as we could on our former Windows or Mac laptops. In fact, I have not yet run into anything that I can't do. And a cost that makes it a no-brainer for us.

This is my third Acer Chromebook. I probably won't use the '"Plus" features. I just wanted something faster with a larger screen. it fills the bill in those regards.

Perfect Chromebook for my needs. I enjoy having the bigger screen for watching videos, and the picture quality is good. Nice that it comes with a case.

This is the 3rd Chromebook I have owned and the first "Plus" model. (actually the 6th counting the ones I bought my wife) Definitely a speed increase compared to my older ones. For surfing, entertaining, paying bills etc these are the best. Simple and Safe to use. I have had the "Ransom" screen pop up on my wife's and simply restart the computer and you're back up again. Chromebooks are less expensive than windows or apple computers.

The computer is easy to use and adaptable to many basic and fundamental platforms. It works efficiently for a cheaper-end computer.

Pros Large screen with decent brightness and resolution Excellent performance ChromeOS has really advanced and is fast and easy to use Excellent Linux mode which allows more flexibility for apps and development Keyboard and trackpad are decent Good battery life Excellent value for the money Lightweight and included case makes carrying it around easy Cons No keyboard backlighting 8GB RAM, perfectly fine if you are just staying in ChromeOS but can be limiting if you want to use Linux mode Keyboard is a bit mushy Trackpad is not bad but as with most plastic trackpads it is meh compared to a MacBook

I’ve really enjoyed this Acer Chromebook. It’s user friendly, its battery life is long, it has great processing speed, and it’s an all around great choice.

So easy, just order and get the next day. The Acer chromebook is great. So far I have just started to explore it and its AI capabilities but for general homeowners use it seems to be great.

This is my 4th Chromebook and the best one so far. It’s fast, has a great bright display and I enjoy the numerical keypad. Very happy with this purchase.

Very nice, very easy to use. Happy that I got this. Was wanting to get away from Windows OS and was very glad that I was told to invest in an Acer Chromebook. So far so good. Definitely would recommend this.

I bought this Chromebook when it was on sale for $280. For that price, I think it is a perfect laptop for someone who needs to be able to do mostly web based tasks. I knew when purchasing, that I was going to mainly be using Chrome and Google apps like Docs and Sheets. This machine does these type of tasks easily. I love the 16" screen and find it is plenty bright for my needs. The speakers are not great but it has a headphone jack. The trackpad is actually pretty good. Overall I think it is a solid choice for those who don't want to fool with Windows machines and find Apple products way too expensive.

This is an amazing piece of equipment, a laptop that meets all the requirements for work and play, simple and practical, and the price is unbeatable. Everything is fantastic.

This Chromebook works much better and faster than the previous one I was using. It is able to handle all the work tasks even with multiple tabs open.

Excellent all-around laptop: good display, good colors, well-known good software, good hardware with fast response. And the price we paid (about $370 including tax) was excellent.

Love the machine. As a long time windows user, it takes some getting used to, but once you concur the differences, honestly it's so much simpler. Less hassles with updates, low risk of viruses (again without constantly updating). File management takes a bit of time to understand, but again, it's a quick learn.

Love the laptop and the excellent service that I have received from both Las Vegas locations. Every time I have gone to Best Buy with a question, or a problem, the service has been A+.
