This smart plug is the best one I’ve used. It is native to the Alexa app so there aren’t any separate apps you have to install just to use it. Also, there is no lag from when I give it a command to turn on or off! A lot of cheaper plugs have a delay between command and execution. I love it, it was worth it to have it work so effortlessly. Setup was a breeze too.

Love using smart plugs for hands-free lights off/on. I also like that I can control them away from home by using an app. We have several of them throughout our home. Voice activated on/off your bedroom light at bedtime! Lots of options. Highly recommend. They make great gifts for your friends and family. The options are endless!

Works great and couldn’t be easier to install. A little bit more expensive than some of the off brand plugs you can buy but Amazon Alexa picks it up like intended and never any issues.

I have about twenty of these plugs and they work fantastic. I use them primarily for the lights in my reptile room, which makes automation a breeze if I’m not home. Setup is easy and takes under a minute with the Alexa App. Highly recommended!

My entire house has plugs installed. I never had a problem with any of the 12 i have hooked up. They are great to set routines with. If im running late coming home im able to turn the lights on for my dogs. Huge plus.

This was bought to replace the Kasa TP link. This was worth the extra money. Setup was easy, just follow the directions and it connects to the Alexa app. The device manages how much electricity is being used and can be manually turned on and off through the app. The devices timer/schedule features are bit awkward but you can get it setup to turn on and off at a specific time. Those who are older or not inclined to technology may have a little trouble getting the timer/schedule setup. The best part I like is that I have all my outdoor Christmas lights connected to three different time and they all come and shut off at the same time instead of the old manual dial timers. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Initially bought this to turn on a light at sunset, for a fixed time. Easy to set up with an Alexa routine on my home wifi. The Amazon smart plug schedule runs very reliably, unlike a couple of Wemo plugs I have. I'm now using the Amazon smart plug to turn on & off a heated towel rail (rated about 400W) when the outside temperature changes between 2 limits. I could only do this by incorporating an IFTTT trigger since Alexa routines alone are not quite that smart. It's a very useful feature here at this time of year as the temperature regularly swings between 40F and 80F.

Amazon plugs work best with Alexa. No problems setting it up.

Have these plugs throughout our apartment and we like have having things automatically turn on/off. I think they are a bit expensive for what they are but they are on sale often. I will say I have tried some of the cheaper brands and had issues that I've never had with amazon plugs so I've stuck with them.

Only smart plugs I buy currently (November 2021). I have about 12 of these scattered through my house for various functions. They integrate very easily within Alexa and don't require any 3rd party hubs or apps to work. The size of the plug is good for a standard duplex outlet but if you have a 2 gang duplex outlet, it will partially block the adjacent plug. Wish the plug has a smaller physical footprint.

Worked with Alexa the first time out of the box. I already own two of these and this one fits right in with the rest.

Bought this Amazon brand smartplug to replace a "generic brand" that had lasted us 3 years. After being so used to buying another brand that currently in our home, since it was not in stock ended up buying this one by Amazon. I must say their plugs, like this one I bought works very well!! Setup was easy and straightforward it was up and running in matter of mins!! So far so good, and the quality is great have had no issues so far. Amazon's smartplug works well you won't regret it.

Already have two of these plugs to control lights. Needed another one to turn on a bug zapper in the garage. Instead of going into the garage to plug in the zapper, I only need to tell Alexa to turn it on and off. It is convenient not to unplug and plug in the zapper. Only downside is I wish the smart plug came with a count down timer feature. I have to set an Alexa reminder to remind me to tell Alexa to turn off the zapper before bedtime.

Works perfectly! Bought for our new Christmas tree in our bedroom. Sooooooo much better than the clapper! Ha Ha!

I purchased the smart plug because I was going out of town and needed a reliable way to turn my birds florescent lamp off at night. With the amazon smart plug I was able to turn the lamp on and off with the Alexa app on my phone. I totally recommend this device to all.

The smart plug wirks oerfect with mynew Echo especially to turn lights on and off at home.

I have a couple of these and installed them at lamp fixtures which had switches that were not easy to reach. They are easy to pair and works with Alexa 100% of the time there is internet WiFi.
