Gave it 4 stars because its smaller than the 1st gen and the voice button is on the side. I do like the added power button, mute button and up,down,right,left arrow button.

I love the simplicity of this product, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do.

The most immediate win is the all-aluminum body. At 5.4 inches tall and significantly thicker than the old glass version, it has a "heft" that feels right. It sits securely in my hand and, more importantly, it doesn’t disappear into the cracks of the furniture quite so easily.

This remote replaced my older black Apple TV remote that finally stopped working. The setup and connection to my Apple TV was really easy and it started working right away. It feels solid and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’m already used to the Apple ecosystem, so it was nice being able to replace the remote without any hassle. Overall it’s been a great replacement and works perfectly with my Apple TV.

The original remote worked good for 4 years with no issues and than the power button fell off. Luckily, Best Buy had the replacement I needed at my local store. So nice to have a store I can drive to and satisfy my need.
