Camera works great. Setup was super easy. Easy access from the application.

This is the first video doorbell I've ever dealt with, but I found it easy to use, and it provides what we wanted a video doorbell for, to see who is outside without going to door. I initially was just gonna use it in conjunction with sync module and store files locally, but the free trial to their cloud service kinda made me change course (using just local was slow in comparison), but luckily, it's cheap (like 3 bucks a month for one device, or 30 a year). When we have ours armed, we get notification when motion is detected (I turned setting down to 4 so a big truck going by doesn't set it off, and maxed it to 60sec before it can be set off again, but sometimes you just have to pause notifications or disarm motion detection), but it is useful when expecting a package and knowing when someone is at door that isn't going to ring the doorbell. Quality of video is good enough for our needs, and hopefully we can save up for some additional cameras, or at least motion sensing floodlights for night, of course sticking with blink would then mean additional devices which I think would then go to 10/mo for cloud service, which still isn't bad compared to some others I've seen. But it's a good device that doesn't break the bank, which was another factor to getting this, we're on a tight budget right now.

This camera system is great and very easy to use. The setup process is very easy and the app works well. I will say before getting blink I had ring I switched because I kept having connectivity issues with my front door camera it was once every three days it would disconnect and not want to connect to the WiFi. I will say my favorite feature about it was it would take a picture every five minutes and the blink doesn’t offer it.

I really wanted a wireless doorbell with local storage. And one that didn't also require a cloud subscription. Not that easy to find. After a different brand had constant connection issues, I sent it back and found this one, which also has local storage. I decided to take a chance on it. First, installation and set-up were very quick and easy. Second, it not only works well, it works consistently. I've used it for nearly a month now and it hasn't lost connection even one time. I think the video quality and adjustment options aren't quite as good as the other brand, but only slightly. But the point is - this one works - all the time. It has not dropped connection once since I installed it. And though I wish it had a plug-in chime, I can still hear it just fine. It rings directly and loudly on the doorbell and also sends a loud notification on my phone when movement is detected and when the doorbell is rung. I can hear from anywhere in the house even without a chime. So for me it's a definite win.

This is actually a pretty decent setup for a starter kit. Not too fancy. Does what it should most of the time. Doesn't require a subscription. Video is pretty clear. It does have some serious lag if you are viewing remotely (Your WIFI, your ISP, your digital ISP, your device) and it can take forever to download a clip from your control box without the cloud subscription, but it does work. The doorbells can be finicky and quit working for absolutely no reason. This requires removing all powered doorbell wires and the batteries, counting to twenty, and putting it all back together. If you are away from home, you are out of luck. But for the price, it is a good starter kit.

Very happy with this video doorbell. Has a nice understated look to it. Setup is easy as the app walks you through everything. The video quality is great, audio is decent enough. The 30 day trial to save clips was nice to have (no payment on file needed). Switching over to local USB storage on the sync module that was included was easy enough after the trial ended. Tried eufy brand doorbell before this and it was not good as it had poor app functionality and the motion sensing was more miss than hit. This doorbell is much better. The notifications for motion sensor come in straight away on the app. It's easy to view and delete clips. Only complaint would be the brightness of the status lights but they can be easily covered with electrical tape if the module can't be placed somewhere where the lights aren't an issue.

Easy to install. camera and audio clarity are excellent. You can arm and disarm the movement at touch of a button. You can view the doorbell or movement anywhere in the world. Excellent.

When I'm reading a review, I don't like to read a bunch of hot air. Let's get right down to business. The good: - CHEAP peace of mind. I can't believe how affordable this kind of tech is getting. - Easy to connect to your wifi and set up. - If you have a total tech membership, they will install it for free. - Looks pretty sleek for something very affordable. - Compact size makes it barely noticeable in a lot of instances. I had it installed and when I arrived back home and saw it for the first time I had a hard time even noticing it at night. This could be a positive or negative depending on how you look at it. For example, many people WANT people to know they're being watched to deter them... if that's your priority, this would be a negative. If you want something discrete and not gaudy, this is a very good choice. The bad: - Video quality is really, really bad unless the subject is VERY close. However, at this price level, one would probably expect this. - A lot of false positives(roughly 7-10 per day), BUT, I have not done any additional tinkering as far as the zones and sensitivity go as of yet. So take this with a grain of salt. For what it's worth, I live on a street that doesn't get a lot of traffic, so 7-10 is probably literally everything that passes. Something to also keep in mind is that I've only owned this for a short time. Time will tell how this holds up and I will try to remember to update my review if I think of it.

OK, we've had this stuff long enough now to provide accurate feedback. At first, this seemed like a really good deal, since we wanted a doorbell camera that we could use local USB storage without monthly fees....which it does, after using the free trial of the online subscription for a month. Pros: 1. Yes it stores video clips locally to USB. Sync module is easy to use and provides doorbell chime as indicated. 2. Video quality is good, night vision=not bad if you set it correctly. 3. Granular control over detection zones. 4. Very price competetive. Cons: 1. Without the online subscription, using ANYTHING from the local USB is sloooooooooooooooow. Once the thing says motion is detected, it takes almost 30 seconds to actually see what's on the camera. A burglar could set off the camera, break in, kill us, steal two TV's and our cat, and drive away before anyone can see what's on the camera feed!!! 2. Even blocking out zones with granular feed, it still triggers motion in these zones all the time....so what's the point? 3. To get good enough night vision, motion sensitivity, etc. to be of any use, it burns through batteries like crazy, which ups the cost of use. 4. Now just around a year old, it's starting to act up so that we have to reboot the module at LEAST once a week, sometimes more to get it to record clips of the motion it's detecting, making it extremely unreliable if we want to go on vacation. Overall, it was inexpensive, and is better that the piece of junk Wuuk doorbell system it replaced, and one of the only "name brand" doorbell cams that does NOT require an expensive monthly subscription, so I dunno whether to tell you this is worth it or not <sigh>. For people like me that need some sort of doorbell, want to get into the video doorbell game on the cheap, skip monthly subscriptions, and don't mind constantly griping about the one you bought, I suppose this is the one for you.
