I reside in a four family apartment building, we have never had any issues with missing packages. However, we have had issue's with a few trespassers within the hallways and i had to escort them out. For this reason i made the purchase of this door bell, which acts as a camera when someone passes by its set to automatically record untill all movement has ceased. The instructions are clear, simple and i had it set up and working within twenty minutes or less. I love the wide angle on the doorbell, it really does a great job at catching all the details nice and clear. If someone is hanging around where they shouldn't you can speak to them through the speaker on the unit itself, it works clear enough for the person on the other end to make out what your saying. The notifications are communicated instantly to your cell phone once the motion sensor detects movement. The doorbell has two methods of instructions it can either run on two AA batteries or you can permanently install the unit using your doorbell wiring, but you may have to upgrade your transformer to one with a higher voltage so the camera works as efficiently as it can. I know this because i had to perform the upgrade for a friend who had issues with his unit not working properly untill the upgrade was made. Its not too difficult but some electrical comprehension helps or you can just turn to youtube. Well i guess that wraps it up, you get about two weeks or so before your trial period ends and you have to subscribe in order to keep your history and other options going. Would i personally purchase this unit again? Yes, without a doubt! We have children on the premises and we need to make it safe for everyone!

Night vision works good, a little bit of a glare. Other than that, everything is perfect on it. I put it up and less than a week later caught someone trying to break into my house… I’m so thankful for this camera. It makes me feel safer and secure. I have the door bell camera and the inside cameras. The monthly payment to save videos is $10 a month which is not bad at all! I would highly recommend, I told all of my neighbors they should get these cameras. Super easy to set up, they have step by step along the way, and if you can’t seem to get it set up right away the app has that covered and helps with extra steps on that too. You can watch live video (which saved the video you watch), and talk through the door bell as well. If you have other cameras you can set up the door bell chime though the other cameras too. I have mine set up that way so when someone rings the door bell I can hear it throughout my house.

The blink camera was a great investment. My camera was easy to set up and the mobile app is user friendly. The video playback interface is clean and easy to navigate. Everything is recorded in high-definition, with its crisp audio and clear visuals. There are no blurry or heavily pixelated images with this product! This comes in handy in case of package theft and around the holidays when I decorate my home. I also appreciate the option to download recordings as needed. As a bonus, the camera came in a sleek and attractive black and blue design. Overall, I feel safer after buying this camera and I've already recommended it to friends and family.

I love my Blink doorbell! It was very easy to install and the Wi-Fi connection is excellent. I can access the recordings anytime, anywhere, which gives me great peace of mind. The picture quality is crystal clear, and I can clearly see who's at the door. I highly recommend it for those looking for a convenient and secure solution for their home.

I purchased an outdoor camera preemptively without knowledge of the sync module. Much to my chagrin Best Buy sells the doorbell and sync module at a great price. Set up and installation took less than 20 minutes and connected to my outdoor camera with ease and I am pleased about my panoramic view of the entrances to my home. It has great sound quality whether recording or using the microphone. As well as great nightvision capability even without use of porchlight or other lumination. I chose to use mine wirelessly, but the wiring option and necessary pieces are included in packaging. Mounting requires a drill and 7/32 drill bit for easiest installation, but necessary hardware is otherwise included. Their cloud subscription is cheap through Amazon at only $10 a month for unlimited devices, recording, saving, and sharing of clips. I will be purchasing more from this brand in the near future.

Works as described. Getting the backplate on was a nightmare and the videos online are no help and, neither was CS. They sent another plate thinking it was defective but it wasn't and, the bp was different. When I called, the representative was not very kind. The next conversation was with a supervisor. With family help, the original bp finally made the connection and I was able to mount it to the anti-theft door mount (purchased separately) and complete the setup, which was very easy. Be sure to get the Sync Module at the same time. You'll pay less and save yourself in the long run. You don't need a subscription w/the module but it's minimal if you choose it. Overall, I'm happy w/the purchase and the peace of mind it brings me.

The blink door bell was the best purchase i have ever done thanks to that door bell i was anle to see a person rob my neighor and thanks to the footage they were able to identify the person i recommend blink cameras more than any other brand cause you can clearly see perfect definition in the footage that it records

This is a high-quality video doorbell, especially considering the price—it's an excellent deal if you catch it on sale. One of the standout features for me is the ability to use local storage via the Sync Module 2 and a USB drive. If you're looking to avoid ongoing cloud subscription fees, this is one of the best options available. While it does have some limitations compared to cloud-based storage, the local storage setup more than meets my basic needs. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the performance and value of this product.

It is an excellent product that fulfils all its functions very well, it has very good audio and video quality, previously I had bought other products but none has served me as well as this one. Night vision is very good as well as the focus it has. Audio, let alone, is wonderful. The application with which I can watch all the video captures is very easy and practical to use, besides that you can share the account with whoever you want.

This looks amazing and the video it captured on the attempts it is a good quality view for a doorbell. The sounds it makes is good very simple. But sadly it won’t connect tried so many times I keep getting this message. To set it up is very easy and very detailed instructions not complicated at all. I just wish I knew why it won’t connect to the wifi.

I have multiple issues why these are only getting 1 star. First and most is the lie on battery life. There is absolutely no way you will ever get two years on your battery life. The battery life is my biggest complaint. I get 1 month max, but on average, about a week and a half. This is with my camera's sensitivity set from 2 to 4 at the highest. I literally have my front doorbell camera battery die after 2 days sometimes! This is with the expensive lithium batteries they require! Yes, they require lithium batteries if you read the fine print. You have no idea how tired I am of changing the batteries and how expensive it can be. I ended up buying rechargeable because it was so expensive. My second complaint is that they have serious lag. Someone rings your doorbell? It takes 10 - 20 seconds for it to let you open your camera so you can talk to them. Crazy! If think that is not long, go stand at your door and pretend you get someone ringing your doorbell and count to 20 staring at your phone to load the camera. My third complaint is it takes a few seconds to start recording. I have had numerous times where it misses the first 5 seconds of someone or some activity in my driveway or suddenly someone is standing at my door and it didn't capture anything. Lastly, it only records for up to 60 seconds and then it stops. So if someone is walking around your backyard or front and they are inspecting before they decide to vandalize or break in, you may miss the whole thing on the camera because one the 60 seconds (or less depending on what you set) is over, it takes forever for it to start recording again. Then if you do set it for 60 seconds and it just happens to be a quick 1 second of movement/motion, it will record for the whole 60 seconds anyways, killing your battery. I highly recommend just spending the extra money for better cameras that record 24/7 and save to a hard drive. Half my cameras are always dead because I don't get around to changing the batteries. Video quality is average. Not the easiest to figure out how to download your videos, You have to pay to use the cloud. You can't save the recordings or run it through your pc, you have to use your app on your phone, which sucks. You can get the pc module to save recordings locally, which uses a micro sd chip you can save the recording to, then you have to take the chip and have an adapter you can plug into your pc and then you can get the recordings (some laptops have it built in), so don't be fooled by them saying you can't use it on your pc, because there is no app for your pc or website you can visit to view your recordings.

The video graphic is excellent. Range for motion is awesome. The price is great. Best of all, you don't need to have a paid subscription. I love it.

We love our door bell camera. It can be wired directly into your existing door chime and it will also send a chime to your phone when someone rings it easy to talk through, great quality videos and live feed

Pretty cool product. Easy to install and tech support helped me sunc my blink to the cloud great product and crystal clear pics and video.

The Blink is an excellent, cost efficient, and user friendly camera. I had another system but to replace the cord on another well known name brand camera, it was less expensive to buy a Blink camera BB had on sale. It was supposed to be a temporary alternative but I ended up preferring over the other! Now, I'm trusting a complete Blink system to monitor my business!

You could record anyone passing by your door and it records perfect. If someone is at your door you could speak to them without being home through your phone using the blink app. The blink module helps you save your recording on a usb stick and It allows you to add the additional blink home cameras if you intend to add more cameras to your home. I feel safe now. It was easy to install and the customer service is great!

I was looking for a doorbell that didn't have a subscription and a friend recommended this since the sync module accepts a thumb drive.
