I am trying to enjoy this vacuum/mop. It was relatively easy to assemble. Not a lot to do. It contains an extra basket, which is nice. There are also different brushes and other accessories. Overall assembly was easy and straightforward. The app works pretty well, easy to use. It did a great job mapping out the room I set it up to clean. The one major con was : Connecting to the WiFi was a major issue. It needed to be directly next to my WiFi modem. This was annoying and kind of weird. When it was finally connected to WiFi it worked, but as it was running it kept loosing the connection. I’ve never had this issue before with any of my devices. It continued to do this. When running properly, it’s not too loud. It didn’t seem to bother my dog as it moved around the floor. It does a decent job of getting pet hair off the floor. I did not get a chance to fully use the mop due to the WiFi issues. It was ok on a test run. I like the look of the vacuum. It’s the perfect size. It fits nicely in a corner until I want to use it. It doesn’t take up a lot of space. Overall it works as expected, when it is connected to WiFi. I may get an extra modem for the living room and see if that helps. It may not be strong enough from the room it’s in. It is a very nice machine. I would still recommend it.

We’ve owned three previous robot vacuum cleaners from three different brands, and the Bobsweep Ultravision Combo Robot Vacuum and Mop makes our fourth. After owning and using four robot vacuum cleaners for over 10 years, my conclusion is that robot vacuum cleaners keep getting better and better. The BobSweep UltraVision is no exception. In case you want to reduce your reading, the take away here is that the Bobsweep Ultravision Combo Robot Vacuum and Mop comes highly recommended by me and my family. I wasn’t so sure about quality when I opened the shipping box and grabbed the pop-up plastic handle to pull the retail box out of the shipping box. I hadn’t even started to lift much when both ends of the plastic handle broke off and I was left holding a 6-inch piece of plastic. If the handle had broken with the retail box several feet off the ground, I could’ve damaged my new robot vacuum. Bobsweep needs to take a look again at the plastic used in their handles. Once I had the UltraVision unpacked and plugged in for charging, I followed the instructions on the very good Quick Start Guide and installed the Bobsweep app on my Android phone. The Android phone app was easy to install, and my Bobsweep account was a breeze to set up. The Bobsweep UltraVision robot vacuum cleaner is easy to configure and control through the phone app. Once the UltraVision robot vacuum cleaner was all set up and the robot was docked in its station, we let it fully charge the first day. The second day we turned it loose and let it map the house. That took a couple hours as we expected it would. It seemed to do a pretty good job of that, and we just let it wander and tried to stay out of its way while it mapped the house. I thought it went back to its docking station a little early which made be think it had already run out charge. Then I looked on the phone app and found that it had already mapped the entire house. We live in a 2,100 square-foot home that has all hardwood floors. I was impressed with how quickly and accurately it had mapped our home. After it recharged and I told it to begin vacuuming and mopping the house, I quickly became impressed with how aggressive this vacuum cleaner can be when it comes to objects that it needs to overcome. The drive wheels have some aggressive tread on them which allows it to climb over items that defeated our previous robot vacuum cleaners. We thought we had prepared our house adequately, but the Bobsweep UltraVision constantly got into places where our previous robot vacuum cleaners couldn’t get. This caused us to rethink how we prepared our house for a robot vacuum cleaner. We never trusted our three previous robot vacuum cleaner’s edge or cliff sensors at the top of our basement steps. So, we keep a plastic gate leaning against the doorway at the top of the steps that prevents a robot vacuum cleaner from getting too close to the edge. We have a 9-foot finished basement and that’s a lot of steps for it to fall down. Well, the aggressive Bobsweep UltraVision knocked the gate down several times. So, I decided to take the gate away and trust its edge sensors. It made multiple attempts to leave the hardwood and go tumbling down the basement steps, but its edge sensors always stopped it cold. This is the first robot vacuum cleaner we've been able to trust at the top of the basement steps. It vacuumed and mopped the entire 2,100 square foot main floor really well. We have no carpet in the entire house. Our home has hardwood flooring throughout. The UltraVision has a rotating corner brush on the side of the vacuum cleaner and does a wonderful job cleaning in all the corners where debris collects. Especially in the kitchen where debris gets collected in the corners of the kitchen cabinet’s toe kick. The Bobsweep UltraVision is rated at 25,000 pa (Pascals), a measure of suction power. That is the highest Pascal rating of any robot vacuum cleaner I could find on the market. This little devil can clean. My wife uses decorative polished pebbles in the trays under some of her houseplants. Occasionally, one will find its way to the floor. We’ve never had a robot vacuum cleaner that was able to pick those up before. Well, now we do. The Bobsweep UltraVision sucked up a couple of those pebbles without even trying hard. I like the fact that the Bobsweep UltraVision doesn’t wet the floor too much when it is mopping. The floor dries within a couple minutes after the robot has passed that point. I can recommend this Bobsweep Ultravision Combo Robot Vacuum and Mop to anyone who is looking for a good robot vacuum cleaner.

OK, this is an OK robovac. Over the years, I have had multiple opportunities to test and review several Robovac's from multiple ,anufacturers. End of the day, my experience has been that... Well... They're OK. I can't think of a single robovac that is particulary remarkable or memorable. Most of them are decent at vacuuming, and OK at mapping, but they all do better in static environments. This one is no different. Set up was pretty simple. Out of the box and ready to go, 15, maybe 20 minutes. As expected. Load the app, pretty simple. Operational in 30 minutes or so. Set it loose and wanted to see how it was as a vacuum/. How was it? It was OK. I will say, this one is advertised as a pet specialty, and it was good. Honestly better than mrectangle ost others. We have a small 20 pond dog, and then we have 3 average size cats. They are all short hair, except one of the cat's is a medium hair. After 3 straight days of running tests in a simple, lightly furnished rectangle room, it learned pretty quickly, and did do a good job on the pet hair. BUt then, the real test... We have a relatively large house, with 3 wings and 2800 sqaure feet on th emain level, 1500 square feet with a long hallway, an open office, and 3 beds, 2 baths upstairs. It's a pretty straightforward lay out. In the basement, we have another 1500 square feet that has one bedroom, one bath, and the rest a wide-open area with a pool table, a couple coiuches and a couple recliners. OK, now that we have a the lay-of the land, this vacuum did great upstairs, as long as we kept bedroom doors closed. With the bedroom doors open, not so much. It seemed to get confused (as most vacs do, whe doors are open. As I expected. Moving to the main floor, I'll say it's this robovac, (or any robovacs, really), our priumary level is just not set up for robovac's... We have two steps down to the den, three sectional sofas, and three seperate sets of French doors. This, and really all robos struggled with not only the size, but the complexity. Now lets go down to the finished, but mainly wide open basement and it did great, but given the simplicity of the layout, that is what I expected. End of the day, this operated as expected. A decent robovac FOR THE RIGHT ENVIRONMENTS, but not at all good in larger, more complex environment. If you have the former, probably a decent choice. If you have the latter, this, or most other's are probably not the best.

Robot vacuums previously were new and stunning break through technology that was pricey and didn’t fully get the job done of cleaning the entire footprint of your home. The apps associated with the device were clunky and the iRobot of the tech world cornered the market and took over the industry. However many other companies started getting in on the trend, lowering costs but also adding not only a vacuum but a mop into the devices. This particular vacuum is pretty nice when it comes to having both a vacuum and a mop in one with an easy to use app to map your home and make cleanup easy. It includes everything you need to get started and the app makes it seamless to get going. The base station is similar to other robot vacs the device navigates back to the base and empties but one thing I didn’t love, the mop portion doesn’t have a water container to auto empty into making it odd to not have that as part of the base station, only the vac part. However it did a great job learning my house and cleanup was made easy with simple programming and timers.

I wanted to love this thing, and honestly I still might if I can adjust my expectations. The vacuuming performance is genuinely impressive. Strong suction, reliable LiDAR navigation, good room mapping. It learns the layout, avoids obstacles reasonably well, and gets into corners better than cheaper robots I've used. For straight vacuuming it earns its price without much argument. The mopping is a different story, and the issues aren't subtle. First, the mop pads don't clean themselves. You have to pull them off manually and wash them by hand after each run. On a machine that sells itself on autonomy, that's a weird omission. It's not the end of the world, but it adds a step that feels out of place given what you're paying. The bigger problem is the water reservoir. It runs out mid-clean, sometimes more than once per session depending on your floor plan. That alone wouldn't be a dealbreaker if the app flagged it, but it doesn't. There's no notification when the water runs dry. You just come back later and find out the robot has been dragging a dry pad across your floors for the last twenty minutes, accomplishing nothing. For a product at this price point, that's a real oversight. The whole pitch is that you set it and forget it. But between refilling the reservoir and washing the pads yourself, the mopping feature requires more hands-on involvement than I expected going in. If vacuuming is your main priority, this machine delivers. The suction, the navigation, the self-empty dock, all of it works well. But if mopping is part of why you're considering it, go in with honest expectations or spend some time comparing alternatives first.

The BobSweep UltraVision Pet Self-Empty Robot Vacuum and Mop is exactly the device I needed for my home. With two dogs, and cat hair that is still showing up even though we haven’t had a cat in over a year, this vacuum has been a great addition. I appreciate the recycled packaging that was used. Once everything was out of the box, I added the side brush and rear mop pads, which come in two types, and I was ready to go within minutes. There’s an app to download that helps your robot vacuum learn its surroundings. I found the app to be very useful, especially since you’re able to see a video feed right from the app. I intend to use this feature to look for things under the couches, as my spouse has been asking where dishes and utensils are. The mop function works really well. I was a little concerned about how it would clean flooring with small gaps, but I didn’t have any issues with residual water. This is due to the excellent suction this vacuum provides. Overall, my spouse and I are both very happy with our new robot vacuum. I look forward to doing a comparison soon with similar products.

I have used my fair share of robot vacuums, and have to say this is one of the better ones. Post the disappointment of my "Roomba" may be that is not big praise, but that is what I have to compare to. Out of the box, the setup is easy - just fix the side brush onto the robot, attach the plate onto the base, and that's about it. (oh, don't forget to remove the stickers off the robot, I did not do that initially, and it could not find the dock automatically. None of the instructions call it out, but I guess they assume everyone will do it). THe dust bag is already preinstalled in the base. So if you want it to start cleaning you can be up and running right there. However, there is an app, ofcourse there is now. The Wifi connection was pretty smooth, and you get to choose a few options on how you want the cleaning to work. The first run is the mapping run, and this is not one of your old robots which needs to go over every single inch of the floor to udnerstand the floor plan, it has a camera and sensors in it, so it actually "sees" your room so can create a map by just covering enough area that there are no blind spots. Once it has done that, you can now set schedules for cleaning whole house or specific rooms. Again for vacuuming this is great, the dust bag is big enough that I believe you wouldn't have to clean it for a couple of months at least (I have not had it for that long yet). The mopping however is a different story, you still need to pull out the tank (inside the vacuum) and fill in the water. The tank is maybe big enough for a single run depending on your floor size. So this is still a pretty involved process, where you need to monitor and fill in the tank if you want the mopping to work. The good thing is that the mop pads spin, so it does do a decent job of it when the tank is full. I wouldn't buy it for mopping though, given that its not all hands free as a model at this price would need to be. Vacuuming is great and it deals with both wood floors and carpets pretty well.

I think this is my 6th robot vac that I've had over the years from various manufacturers (iRobot, Samsung, Ecovacs) and each one has it's own quirks. The bObsweep is designed with shedding pets in mind, and as a Golden Retriever household, I can say that so far this vac has done better at picking up the "golden glitter" than other standard robots due to the brush design and strong suction. I had mixed feelings at first about the mop feature. Our last 2 robots had the self filling/emptying/cleaning/drying setup in the base station. But the downside of that is that they can get clogged, especially with pet hair, and next thing you know there's a large puddle around your base station. So after reflecting on the times that's happened, and we were fortunate enough to be there and clean it up before it damaged the wood floors, I actually appreciate that this unit requires a manual fill of the water tank and manually removing the mop pads to dry. They're held on with magnets, so they attach and detach easily. Also, the base station is less obtrusive in the room and the space saved from no water tank means you get a dust bag that's at least twice the size of the competition. The app isn't great. It's easy enough to setup, but the map feature leaves a lot to be desired. Since the unit maps using lidar, if it goes by a patio door it'll scan this blob of outside that it'll never go to. It makes the map look messy and there's no way to delete it. And then there's just icons with no labels for making edits to the map, like naming rooms or no go areas. It's a bit of a guessing game figuring it out. And the no go areas have a minimum size, and you can only do squares, so I had to do multiple sized no-go zones and overlay them on each other to get close to the desired area. One of the no-go zones was for the dog bowls and it's basically just a huge no-go zone out in our backyard with a corner of it covering that little space inside. I would really like to see bObsweep add better functionality to the map with the ability to add angles to no-go zones and no more minimum size. Overall, the robot does a good job vacuuming and hasn't gotten stuck anywhere yet. We were able to pair it with Google Home so we can send it out by voice command, which is helpful. I'm happy with it, but would give it 5 stars if they figure out the app.

The bObsweep - UltraVision Pet Combo Robot Vacuum, 25,000Pa Suction, Spin Mops, 1.5 Gal 180-Day Dock, App and Voice Control, Hi-Res Cam - Gunmetal is a well made robot vacuum combo that features high suction power (25,000Pa) and a large auto-empty dock that can hold debris for up to 180 days. It is suitable for large homes and especially homes with pets. It also has a mopping system for hard floors. Our house includes hard flooring (engineered wood) and rugs in the bedrooms. We also have two large dogs (cream retrievers) that shed lots of hair. The bObsweep Ultravision Pet Combo Robotic Vacuum was able to handle that with ease. The bObsweep provides accurate mapping and emphasizes privacy by not recording, storing, or sending images to external servers. The auto empty dock includes bags that are lined with activated charcoal to prevent pet odors. In addition to vacuuming, the bObsweep also performs mopping. However, the dock does not automatically clean the mop pads. In summary, I recommend the the bObsweep robot to anyone with multi-surface floors and with shedding pets.

I have used several types and brands of robotic vacuums and I am super impressed with this one. Setup is easy and documentation is included to walk you through step by step. All pieces are well packed and there is quite a bit of protective film to remove. The base just needs the plastic tray slid onto it, plugged in and it’s ready to go. I really like that the dustbin uses an actual bag and it is a really good size and one comes installed. It includes one extra bag and dustbin air filter. The only setup on the vacuum is snapping on the cleaning brush and the two mop pads. It starts charging as soon as you place on the base and highly recommend downloading the mobile app and connecting to the internet. This will allow you to easily control and see the status of charging and if it is working correctly. It takes a little while to fully charge, but this is fine since most people will only use once per day. The water tank on the vacuum is easy to get to with opening a rubber plug. The tank is rather small and you may have refill while cleaning. The vacuum doesn’t notify you water levels are low, but it will display in the mobile app. You can do an initial quick map run, or it will automatically map on initial use. You can also set intensity settings for vacuum and mop in the app. It goes much faster than other vacuums II have used and does an excellent job of navigating, avoiding obstacles and not constantly bumping into things like other brands. It defaults to empty each time it docks or you can change the frequency or set to manual. This is nice if you want to avoid the large sound when it is emptying into the bin. The mop pads rotate rather fast and do an excellent job of evenly mopping. It easily transitions from mopping to carpet and the mop pads automatically raise when it senses carpet. The only drawback is this model doesn’t automatically clean the mop pads. It is suggested to remove, clean and dry after each cleaning. It is also recommended to empty left over water. The pads remove easily and water can be dumped easily as well. I have had automatic cleaning ones before where the water tray gets rather dirty, so manually cleaning can be a plus.

The Ultravision Pet Combo works great, once you get it set up. Having different flooring surfaces can often be a challenge, especially with pets, the Ultravision Pet Combo works great, once you get it set up. The cleaning was awesome and the voice responses and updates from the unit were a cool feature, it also self-empties more quietly than expected and the unit runs pretty quiet as well. Mapping was quick and the object avoidance feature worked well. I would, obviously, recommend picking up anything that is breakable or which is prone to tipping, because the unit does move quickly during mapping and makes solid contact with some objects. The final result was a nicely vacuumed floor, and the mopping feature did it’s job well – although the hard floor wasn’t terribly dirty to begin with it looked better than when I mop it. The unit arrived and was well packaged, and there are plenty of attachments, etc. The unit was not fully charged when it arrived, but charging was quick – once I got the unit to go to the charger. The one flaw I would mention is that the instructions were a bit lacking. For those that purchase one of these and are wondering where “box 4 of 4” is, it’s not an actual box, it’s a thin piece of fitted cardboard that holds the charging bed. Check along the side of the outer/main box and you’ll find the cardboard behind which is the charging bed. Downloading the app was easy enough, but setting up the wi-fi connection via the app was a bit tricky; took a few attempts to connect and confirm that the unit was there. Also, for me at least, pressing and holding the Go! Button the first time didn’t result in the unit lighting up an powering on, it took off and started mapping – which meant I had to chase the thing around to press “charge” to send it to the station. Once I had everything connected and charged, it was a smooth operation. The mapping was better than I had experienced with robot vacuums previously and took less time as well. As mentioned above, the unit is quieter than expected, which is a plus. Setting up schedules was easy and after using it now for three weekly cleanings I am impressed. Take your time with the setup and it's worth it.

This is my review of the bObsweep UltraVision Pet Self-Empty Robot Vacuum & Mop. Right off, I was impressed with the secure packaging of the UltraVision and all of its accessories. If box weight is any indication, I’m assuming that the Vacuum is well-made, sturdy, and hopefully will last a long time. After removing all the items from the box, and inventorying the accessories versus what was identified in the well-documented QUICK START GUIDE (“QSG”), I was ready to start assembly and setup. The QSG was one of the better one’s I’ve seen/used for setting up a new product and addressed a majority of the typical setup steps needed for the typical setup and use … GOOD JOB GUYS! Equally as good, is the USER GUIDE that provided a lot of detail with pictures of all the unit’s capabilities and limitations. Finding the best location for the base station was my first problem. I would typically put this type of vacuum in my laundry room – and will probably move it in there at some future date – but can’t now because we have a large breed puppy and since she’s not 100% housebroken, she’s in the laundry room most of the time right now. So, temporarily, I have to put the vacuum/mop base station in an open room adjacent to the kitchen. Luckily, it has travertine like most of my main 1st floor, so water and space aren’t an issue. I did the easy, initial setup of the vacuum/mop so that it could start charging while I prepped other accessories. I easily downloaded the Bobsweep app from the Google Store and got it setup and talking to the vacuum/mop. I got everything setup for suction, cleaning, mapping with some “no go” locations, etc. I found the app to be mostly intuitive but labeling some of the app’s buttons would have been helpful. The vacuuming process with “high suction” set, did a really good cleaning job. My first floor has about 1400sf but I will only regularly vacuum about 1000sf of it. Doing this, the vacuum had to return to the base station one time during cleaning to recharge the battery. During cleaning, I felt the vacuum was relatively quiet. During emptying, it was markedly louder but not intolerable. It didn’t seem to bother my puppy. While I had hoped the mopping would be LIKE traditional, by hand mopping, I was disappointed to learn that it only did “damp mop cleaning” with plain water and it didn’t automatically empty the dirty water reservoir when done. I expected that at the $1300 price point this device with “really do” the cleaning job. There are other vendor’s products on the market at this $1300 price point that DO real cleaning and emptying. So overall, I think the Bobsweep UltraVision Pet Self-Empty Robot Vacuum & Mop system is pretty good and it will save us time on trying to keep the floors vacuumed with a puppy! Mopping has a the few limitations I’ve noted, and “damp mopping” will have to suffice as opposed to really mopping with a cleaner. Price is a bit high with the limitations it has, but I believe the product quality is there and it should last a long time. With this purchase, I am “retiring” a much-older Bobsweep vacuum that I’ve had for 10 years. I would DEFINITELY recommend this vacuum/mop to anyone.

I am not a person that likes to vacuum or mop the floors and this robot vacuum is a lifesaver. I can save so much time and energy on other things than having to clean my floors. This robot vacuum comes with the base/charging station with a dust bag already installed, the vacuum, the mopping attachments with two extra microfiber cloths, a bristled brush, a silicone brush, two side brushes, a cleaning tool, an extra filter for the vacuum and even an extra dust bag. It is nice that they included so many extras. Set up is fairly straight forward. Follow the directions to set up the base and vacuum. Make sure to put it in an area with nothing around it, I made sure to have a good 18 inches away from things in all directions and backed up to a wall. The directions state to place this on a hard surface, but I put mine on carpet and have had no problems and it works great. You will then need to download the BobSweep app for this to work properly and set up schedules and no mop zones. The app will have you map out the house so it knows where it can and can’t go. You can then set up all individual rooms you want done and divide up the map to the rooms to be done. This will also work with Smart Home devices. It is a nice added bonus to just use you smart home device and it will vacuum the whole house for you or individual rooms you want done via the app. This robot vacuum has floor sense technology. When you need to mop floors and it is going from a carpeted room to a hard floor, the mopping pads will lift up so your carpet will not get wet. Mapping comes in very handy for this. You can set up no mop zones, so that the vacuum will know to just vacuum in certain areas and then it can vacuum and mop others. The vacuum has amazing suction and it mops very well. The directions do say that you should use distilled water for mopping, but I investigated further and you can get a cleaning solution designed to be low-foaming. The capacity of the dust bag is twice the size of other robot vacuums which is a nice caveat because you will need to empty or replace the bag less often. If you are like me and don’t like cleaning floors, this could be what you are looking for. I have tried other combo robots and have had to literally pick up the robot and move it to a hard surface room for it to mop. With the floor detection technology this robot has, I don’t have to worry about that and just let it go about cleaning every surface in my home. I need to mention that the battery life on this particular robot vacuum is exceptional because others didn’t last long without recharging halfway through vacuuming my house. This robot vacuums the whole house and still has about 40% battery life left. This is the absolute best robot vacuum I have had.

Robot vacuums come with huge promises but many times fail to fully deliver. This is one of those times. On paper this is a great vacuum. It has strong suction, advanced mapping features, an auto empty dock with a huge bag. This should be a great vacuum, but unfortunately I haven't loved the performance of this vacuum in any way. In the box you get two sets of mop pads, a couple empty bags, two filters, two sweepers and two different brush heads. I really did like that the bot came with both a rubber brush head and a bristle head. This is something most vacuums don't do and I really appreciate them giving you options for what best works for your floor. Setup was absolutely terrible. Be very careful not to connect to wifi that auto steers between 2.4 and 5 ghz. The robot will get lost after connecting and require a total reset. I struggled so hard to get the robot to consistently connect. At one point I had the same vacuum in the app twice , but after much effort I finally got it working. The mapping process was just as frustrating, after mapping the house, the robot failed to find its dock several times and even now fails to find specific rooms or complete a total sweep of the house. For something at this price point you expect the mapping to be top notch. The inability for this robot to consistently navigate my home makes it very hard to recommend this vacuum.

Unboxing was easy. Everything was nicely labeled and well packaged. I got to the instructions and found several things I wish I had known prior to getting it. Things I wish I had known prior to claiming this one: 1. Needs the dock to sit on a hard surface. I do not have any wall space or outlet for this in my galley kitchen, laundry room, or pantry. 2. It needed such a huge footprint just outside the dock. I don't have any open space large enough to fit their requirements even in my carpeted areas. 3. It struggles with self-emptying the dust bin into the dock. Dog hair is a struggle to exit the vacuum. I have to manually remove it frequently. 4. Struggles with pet hair. It leaves little piles of pet hair on the floor. Other things to consider. It struggles to map the rooms. Then it struggles to find the dock. The mop reservoir in the unit is pretty small. The app is easy to navigate. I have a different unit in my workplace that blows this one away. Better navigation, better object avoidance, Clean and dirty water bins in the dock as well as dry dustbin, rolling mop pad, self cleaning mop pad WHILE mopping! Because of that unit, I know what a good robot vacuum can do. Makes me fully aware of what I'm missing here.

TL;DR - the bObsweep UltraVision Pet is a solid choice for a robot vacuum. It handles going from hardwood to plush floors easily, the mopping function works pretty well, and it handles large areas surprisingly well, too, but is more labor-intensive than I'd like it to be. Otherwise, it's a solid choice for home or small business usage. Unboxing and setup: Everything is packed pretty well overall. the dock unit is a little larger than I expected compared to the size of the box, but that's a good thing. changing out mopping pads and brush assemblies is simple enough. You'll need to install the bObsweep app on your phone or tablet to use this device, as setting up and teaching it where everything is only works with the app. The app is very easy to use, however; compared to some major brand robot vacuums, it's extremely easy. WiFi recept The one annoyance I had is charge time - I'm not sure if it's just the size of the battery or the charging electronics, but it seemed to take longer to charge than my other robot vacuums did. As far as learning the space it would be cleaning, I used the space at the non-profit my wife is on the board of - a 4500 square-foot office where children and sheddy dogs work and play together. Some rooms are large, some rooms are small, but there were plenty of obstacles and different kinds of flooring to test with here. Usage: Hard floors are where this unit excels. The hallways, multi-use room, kitchen, and lobby were all cakewalk for this to clean up after. The vacuum managed to get all the dog hair on the first try, and the mop did well at cleaning up dirt tracked in at the entrance. Shorter carpet was also something this handled well. Dirt, dog hair, and paper scraps were all easily sucked up. There is one room with a very plush, faux fur rug on the floor. This is the one room the robot had issues with, no matter which roller brush we used with it. So for rooms with very plush throw rugs or shag carpet, this is probably a no-go. With vacuuming, battery life seemed decent enough. It had enough power to clear the multi-use room (120 foot by 50 foot), the kitchen area (approximately 50 foot by 60 foot), and a hallway (12 feet by 160 feet) before it gave a low battery warning. I split cleaning into three groups (multi use/hallway, kitchen/recovery room/hallway, and lobby/tech room/podcast room/hallway), and run each group twice a week, and with the way the groups are set up, I've yet to see another low battery warning. Mopping is decent. Like I said, it was able to clean the entryway very well. However, I'm not a fan of a lack of apparent self-cleaning. For homes, this isn't a problem, but for offices where you're not always in, this can be a problem. This might be a skill issue on my part, but I just didn't see where self-cleaning can be enabled. The collection bin/docking base is nice. It's definitely easy to use, the bags for dust collection are easy to change, and it's pretty quiet overall compared to some other docking systems. Mapping worked really well. The robot was able to determine where all the furniture it wouldn't be able to go under was and would work itself around it. Also impressive was random obstacle avoidance - being there are dogs in this office, that means there are also dog toys, and sometimes dog toys get left out. Where most robots will run into those toys and sometimes get stuck, the bObsweep knew immediately to go around. As far as the price goes, I'm looking at this as a "you get what you pay for" situation. The performance, even with the little bit of a mopping function shortcoming, is solid. You can pay more for a robot vacuum and experience worse performance. It's not perfect, but it's pretty close overall.

I have a robot vacuum and that I enjoy but I feel they are not as powerful as a handheld vacuum. So now and then I would still have to vacuum by hand. So, with this I was not sure what to expect. The vacuum section is amazing and pretty strong. Alot better than my other robot vacuum. I was not expecting that with this being a mop and vacuum combo. It works great vacuuming carpet and hard wood floors. Best part is that it will dock and clean itself. The mopping part I was not sure how it would work. You do have to set it up when you mop. It reminds me more of a swifter mop. It has a water tank that is a decent size and will dispense a little water and then has brushes that mop for you. You take the brushes off and I also recommend dumping the water, when you are not mopping and want to vacuum. But it is easy to do, and this is light enough (around 10lbs). This is the only downside for me as you can't leave and have this vacuum and mop. The app. This was easy to connect. Use was not hard but had to play around a little when setting up boundaries. But I liked that you could set up no mop zones. This allows when in mop mode to transit from one area to another area and if it has to go over carpet, it won't try to mop the carpet. You can also select how often you want the vacuum to be cleaned when it docks. Unfortunately, I only have 1 story, so I did not test how this does with detecting stairs. Sorry. It does have a low object detection, so it worked great with my sliding door rail and not trying to go over that. Overall, I was impressed with how well it did on carpet. Nice combo vacuum to have.

I have always enjoyed trying out robot cleaners for my home and was very excited to try out this one. I have so many robot cleaners in my house so I have some to compare. Unfortunately I would rank this one on the low end compared to others within the same price group. I was very impressed with how this was packaged and how easy it was for setup. I really liked it also comes with extra components to swap out of when needed. Right out of the box it was ready to be used with an 80% charge. I tested it on both hard floor and rugs but not the mop portion. For the hard floor it would pick up ok but miss some items like dog hair or small debree. Rugs it was ok , suction could be better. The app is ok with the ability to place no go zones or map out the floors. I also like the zone sections you can enable. The only problem is this bot is noisy, even at low settings its noisy especially when it empties into the tower. That was so noisy I would never be able to use it during night time. Overall this is an ok product however not for the current price point its asking for in my opinon.
