I absolutely love these glasses, they are so cool. The sound is so crisp and clear. I love that there’s nothing directly in you ear. They are very loud but not too loud. I was concerned that the mic wouldn’t pick up & I would have to yell for ppl to hear me. I’m heard very well. My only complaint is I wish the battery lasted longer.

Bought these in the spring, so I've had them long enough to give real feedback. The look of the glasses is really cool. I get compliments on the all the time. I love the charging cable. Love that hassle free, magnetic connection. The sound is like a 7/10. They sound good and I love being able to go hands free when exercising or just shooting a few basketball shots, but they need to have a higher peak level. Especially on phone calls they need more power in the drivers for these to be viable outside a quiet setting like an office or at home. Here is where things kinda go south: 1) Fitment: they're way too tight behind the ear. At first it was great but if I wear these for more than 15 minutes I start to get headaches. Maybe I have a large head but they squeeze and its unbearable. 2) Fitment (2): there's no way to adjust them. The part that hooks behind the ear doesn't curl down far enough to prevent the classic slide down when I look down. I tried to take them to an eyeglass place and they said they wont adjust them because they don't want to damage the electronics in the heat machine. It's a hassle to get them to fit right. Maybe they could have an adjustment point on the back of the arms or make that part out of metal. Not sure the correct fix for that. 3) Durability. This is the big one; they just stopped working about 3 weeks ago. They won't turn on. It wasn't water, it wasn't dust. I casually wear these and keep them in the case. Took them out of the case and they just didn't turn on. I'm looking into the warranty. Very disappointed they didn't even last a year. So definitely need a V2 with these very basic issues addressed as far as I'm concerned. It's a great concept and has lots of potential but with such a fast failure rate

      Hello!

It's great to hear how much you've been enjoying the looks and sound of your Frames. I'm glad you're a fan of the magnetic charging cable as well.

Thanks for your suggestions on what you would like to see added to the Frames in the future, we always love to hear your feedback and suggestions on what can make the Frames even better for you.

If your Frames are no longer turning on, then they may not be receiving enough power from the charger you have connected the cable to. Love, love, love my new Bose Sunglasses. They are so kewl. The sound is perfect for me and connectivity was smooth. I downloaded the app and I made some adjustments in the settings so when they’re not in use they’ll shut off. This allows for extended battery life. Awesome, looking forward to getting the colored lenses. Only thing is I wish they where bejeweled. Lol.

Bose is renowned worldwide for their ability in making top notch audio/video equipment. This time Bose has stepped into another segment of the market. I own quite a few pair of sunglasses but I have never owned anything like this. The Bose Rondo will surprise you and make you want to go out and get a pair. They come in two varieties the Alto & Rondo. Initial Impressions: Upon taking them out of the box I was not quite sure what to expect but I know it had to be good if Bose had put their name on it. You will find the regular documentation, the frames are in a nice sturdy case, and you will find a magnetic charger much like you would find on a Macbook. The speakers are located on the left and right arms of the frames. They are strategically designed to fire downward to the ear canal. You will find the power button on the bottom of the right arm and pressing the button also allows you to answer phone calls and pause and play music. Once you have them out of the box they look unique but in a good way. They have a normal appearance of Sunglasses and no one would know any different unless you actually let them try it on themselves. They are lightweight and I was very surprised by this because they look as if the would weigh more than they do. While they are made of plastic it isn't a cheap fragile plastic that would fall apart in your hands. The aesthetics are wonderful and it looks and feels like a premium pair of Sunglasses. Sound & Call quality: Anyone who knows Bose as a brand knows that they make exceptional products with great audio fidelity. These Bose frames are no exception. I will do my best to describe it because these are more of a seeing is believing kind of thing. I was pleasantly surprised to how good the audio is on these. Whether you are indoors or outdoors it works great in most environments. Indoors in a normal environment such as home, work or at school you will hear everything just fine. I find that in most instances I had trouble hearing people talk when I had the volume at 75% or higher. I work for a specific Fire Department and I make emergency runs all day long and I was still able to hear these pretty well despite the noisy environment I am constantly in. The sound of music is great plenty of highs and lows and it still surprises how good it sounds despite the fact that there aren't any earbuds in my ear canal. Now I love wearing them while walking my dog in the park, but most especially in the car while traveling. Using Google Maps or Waze these are amazing. I am able to have a conversation with my girlfriend while driving and hearing turn by turn directions while headed to my destination. Talking to others on the phone using the Bose frames was a very pleasant experience for the most part. I was able to make numerous phone calls without any issues. I was able to clearly here the other party and vice versa. I did not experience a single dropped call or any sort of interference. The only issue i had experienced was no fault of Bose but due to the weather. I only once experienced difficulties while speaking to another individual while it was windy outdoors. Battery life: I used these for a number of weeks and really put it through its paces. I was able to use navigation throughout my day and answer a few phone calls and this was a days worth of heavy usage for me. With standby and mixed use I am able to squeeze anywhere from 5- 7 hours. When I am not using them I power them off. I don't know if i mentioned it earlier but the way you power them off is pretty neat. You simply hold them upside down for two seconds. I do not listen to a lot of music using these but with mixed usage I had better battery life than advertised I do not know why that is but I am certainly not complaining. It is important to note that you should update the firmware through the Bose app and this should help you with the battery life and whatever else optimizations were made. Final thoughts: I love these Bose Frames. I am seriously also considering getting the Alto as well to have a different look. The sound quality is good considering there is nothing in your ear. But please do not have unrealistic expectations these are NOT a substitute for an actual pair of headphones. But I must say that doesn't bother at all this serves its purpose for me and that is to answer phone calls and listen to music and for navigation. I find it best to pair the Bose Frames with a smart watch for the ultimate hands free experience. You can see who is calling and pick up your phone calls using the Bose Frames, or play your music using it as well. I had no expectations with these and Bose has met and exceeded all my expectations with these Frames. Everyone who has tried them on was impressed or at the least intrigued by them. I didn't even know I needed these but I am glad that I have them.

Bose has always been well known for great sound quality. When it comes to these sunglasses, they are proving to show terrific innovation. Pros: - Set up was very easy. You just install the Bose Connect app and follow instructions. It takes just a few minutes to complete all the steps. - The shades provide UVA and UVB protection for your eyes. - They are lightweight and comfortable. - Function control is simple. There is just one button used to power them up, pause, resume, answer calls, skip songs, etc. They are turned off simply by placing the glasses upside down for 2 seconds. - This ability to listen to music and podcasts without having to bring along headphones is awesome. You just need your sunglasses! Cons: - Set up requires enabling your location settings on your phone. But you can turn off your GPS after set up. - The Rondo style isn't the best look on me. The Alto model would be more up my alley. This is a great pairing of devices (shades and headphones) that can simplify your life. Check them out!

This Bose Frames has a very fashionable normal thin look without the heavy gadget looks. The Rondo styles has 49.5-millimeter rounded frame, only in matte black color and darker lenses with a 99% UVA/UVB rays block, but it would’ve been nice to have a polarized lenses for the price. Apparently they are scratch and shatter resistance, so far I haven’t seen any scratches to the lenses or frame, just make sure you clean the lenses with the little cloth bag, also this Frames are not water proof but a little rain hasn’t affect it. The battery life so far is good with a 3.5 hrs and a 2 hrs to charge it. On each side of the Frames are two speakers that produce earbud-quality sound without needing you to put anything in your ear. It seems magical how the music comes out so clearly but discreetly, without disrupting anyone around you. The sound is good but it lacks bass and it doesn’t cancel background noise, but that’s a good think so you can also pay attention to your surroundings. I made a few calls with the Bose Frames but you may want to be in a quiet place so the other person can hear you (no noise cancellation) without any other background noise, so I would just use this Frames for music and sunglasses. The Bose Frames were easy to set up with my phone and the app, just press the gold button on the right side and it will help you set up your frames , play music, answer calls and even to use it with Siri and Google Assistant, to turn the frames off , just take them off and flip the sunglasses, it will automatically turn them off. Pros - Stylish design Strong audio quality Lightweight Easy to pair and use Cons- Lenses aren't polarized Poor microphone quality

First and foremost, I am a Bose Fan/Lover for many years now. So when I heard the story’s months back about the Bose Frames, I thought how I couldn’t wait to see how it would work out. The day has come and this is the truth! So, I think the design is good. Not great as far as the rondo goes.imo they are meant for smaller heads. I have a rather large head.so I recommend the Alto design . But the build quality is typical Bose and is top notch. Now the sound is what is most important right. And that’s where you will be shocked. They actually sound amazing for what they are. I didn’t think they would sound so clear or would block out surrounding noise(minimal) but they do! The bass is soft and kinda non existent. But I am almost certain Bose will update the frames to kick up the bass later via the Bose connect app. Which leads me to the the extra features through the app. The app is easy to use and connect to the frames. You can update them through the app. Also the app allows you to download external apps through the App Store and google play store I assume. I’m on iPhone. But the apps are designed for the Bose frames and is called AR. From what I take it is audio reality or augmented reality. It’s like VR only that you can hear and not see. From the apps I tried. It’s cool but not enough for me to feel that I will use it past showing off to friends and family. We shall See what the future brings. All in all I love them for what they are. It’s summer time and I need glasses and love music so they fit my lifestyle perfectly. PS-Do not lose the charger as it is proprietary. Also these are not water proof but semi water resistant.

Bose Frames Rondo Bose has taken two accessories we use in our everyday lives and merged them into a product called the Bose Frames! First Impression: Opening the box I was surprised at the amazing build quality and the solid feeling of the frames. The arms aren’t bulky or intrusive when putting them on. Setting up: It took literally 2 mins to connect, download Bose AR app and start playing music through the glasses. Testing: I tested these frames on both Apple and Google, able to pull up Siri and Google Assistant. Making phone calls were crystal clear and people within arms distance couldn’t make out the conversation from the sunglasses. Build Quality: I tested the drop, the scratch resistance and the held up as you can see in the picture, they look unscratched and nothing had happened. They used metal for their hinges which is a nice factor to secure that build quality but are still light enough you forget they are there. Bose AR enabled: This has got to be the biggest selling point; this brings so much unique aspects to the device. You will go in the app and go through a few steps of syncing your glasses then will be presented with choices of experiences. This was by far the most unique aspect I have ever encountered in technology. They took the ordinary sunglass experience and transformed it into an elevated futuristic experience. It made me feel like I was right in the middle of Blade Runner. In Life on Mars experience you move your head around to access parts of the 360-degree music scene. This was just something so surreal and immersive. Final Thoughts: These glasses are leaps and bounds above anything in this timeline, if you are looking to take your audio and sunglass experience grab a pair and prepare to blast off to the future!

    Bose Frames Rock ... Literally!

Bose Frames provide an exciting new way to listen to music while on the go. Bose engineers have produced speakers that are powerful enough to provide the kind of audio quality you’d expect from Bose while also being small enough to be placed in sunglasses. They are also very effective as sunglasses too. Given the relatively low price of Bose Frames I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product, from the packaging, to the sunglasses themselves and the fact they even included a hard case to protect them while not in use. If there was one thing that I would have liked to have seen different, it would be the use of a standard USB-C charging connector. Instead of a USB-C or some other standard connector, the USB charging cable uses a proprietary connection and so you’ll want to definitely keep an eye on where you keep that cable. I’d also like to see more styles available, which I’m sure Bose will do in time if the concept takes off.

Frames with speakers, really? This was my first thought but after trying them I am wowed. The music sounds amazing and gives you a personal concert all while keeping your eyes shaded from the sun! These stylish glasses are light and don't feel tight while on. What I liked most is that I don't feel any discomfort after wearing them for a while when compared to wearing earbuds or headphones. These are not necessarily noice cancelling but with the small speakers placed on each ear-piece eyeglass frame next to your ear, it does give you your own personal music experience. Even if played loud, it is not too noticeable to those around you. Installing the Bose Connect app allowed for a seamless firmware update and instructions on how to get the most out of the new sunglasses. Augmented reality apps use the audio from the headwear to engage you to fun activities. A nice addition and a great way to entertain a few guests!

Frames are light weight. Extremely posh and a joy to own. The one and only button to operate them is easy to use (start/stop music and forward/back for tracks). Connection is automatic each time I put them on-love that! I downloaded the app for these frames, but it’s useless. I cannot rave enough about this purchase. Plays music, podcasts, audiobooks with enough volume that never leaves me wanting more. And I work in a warehouse setting for UPS and it can get loud in there (yes I wear my shades indoors too). I am the envy of all with these awesome shades.

I was skeptical that a pair of sunglasses could produce great sound that could be heard only by the wearer, but it’s true. I bought these a few days ago for my 15 year old, and he loves them. We bought the Rondos because they fit better on a smaller face. He says they’re comfortable and loves the sound quality. He had the app downloaded and the glasses figured out before we left the Best Buy parking lot - very easy to use.

These are great glasses. The frame is very sturdy and has a super premium feel to them. The actual audio part is amazing they sound amazing. There is very little bass but you can expect this. I use these for longboarding, the battery life is perfect for my use (about 4 hours full volume). The one thing I wish was that they were a little louder but still there great
