I did a lot of research on speakers before making my purchase. I wanted one for a long time and I wanted to make the right choice I bought the Bose Soundlink mini because it sounded clear and looked very sleek This thing has a nice shape and a hard outer body .. When you pick it up it is solid and heavy in a good way .. It definitely packs a punch with the bass and it does not rattle or distort at top volume ! I played this all day and the battery was still going .. Has a cute stand/dock to charge when you get home too It it easy to use and just feels like a luxury product.. Buy it and you won't turn it off

I purchased this speaker several months back and it's seriously one of the best purchases I've ever made, thanks to the terrific sound engineers at BOSE. I connect it via bluetooth to my Mac (another great purchase, thank you and rip Steve Jobs) and the bluetooth stays connected anywhere in my apt. I would recommend to everyone. Best Buy, love your business too you guys have done a fantastic job with your company.

Bose has provided a great unit that is easy to use, light weight, compact, with amazing sound. We use this unit for night time background noise (Rain/Thunder) and the low boom of the thunder and the high crack of the lightning sound clear and crisp. Great product!

The Bluetooth functionality of the speaker is consistent and stable. Equally important, the sound quality from the speaker is excellent. The bass is very strong and better than I have heard in other speakers. I have a 2004 car, which does not have a Bluetooth system for connecting my iPhone. It doesn't even allow for an aux cable. I bought this speaker specifically for use in my car and it has worked great. I specifically like the weight of the speaker as it keeps it from moving around while I am driving.

For portability and acoustics this is the way to go. Gets loud enough to have a small gathering or great for watching a movie in an intimate setting. The only pitfall is that it's not water proof. Everything else is great. Sleek design fits in coat pocket.

Really good sound for the small size. Good battery life and portable - we have taken on a couple of trips. Works well as a speakerphone as well. Have purchased 2 more as gifts for friends.

I have owned several portable blue tooth type speakers and this one is the best. Very portable, good battery life and outstanding sound. Even the speakerphone function is better than expectations. Strongly recommend this Bose product.

This small Bluetooth speaker has outstanding clarity throughout the sound spectrum. The low frequencies are absolutely amazing considering the compact size. The balance of sound reproduction throughout the sound spectrum is excellent. All of my friends and family who have heard it have commented about the great quality of sound it has. I have several Bose products and enjoy them all. Some of them I do consider priced on the "high side" considering other comparable products available, but with Soundlink Mini Bluetooth 2 you get a lot of great sound for your dollar (that's value). Some of the features of the speaker: * Plays up to 10 hours on a single charge * Can even play while charging on its charging base (included) * Uses voice prompts for easy pairing * Uses voice prompts whenever powering up to indicate: (1) which device it is connected to, and (2) the percentage of battery life remaining * May be used as a speakerphone I would encourage you to check out the info that Bose has about this unit on their website. I found it to be very helpful. That being said, you can read a lot about speakers, but the bottom line is "how does it sound?" I went into a local Best Buy store and listened to all the Bluetooth speakers they had there. There are some really nice sounding speakers on the market, and many of them do cost less, but for me, this one has an incredible sound well worth the price difference.

The Bose bluetooth speaker has great sound. The bluetooth is easy to use and connecting to each of my devices was a snap. I really like the portability. It will play for ten hours on a charge. I would give this as a gift.

Wow! This speaker puts out great sound. The base is surprisingly strong. It helps to put the speaker by a wall where it can reflect the sound. I've used it on the patio by the pool, in my office, and in hotel rooms and is has great sound. It can be turned up very loud with minimal distoration. I've listened to piano, country, classical, rock, blues, reggae thru the speaker and all sound great... Battery life is very good after 2 months. .. Hopefully it stays that way for years. The speaker is very easy to pair to a device. I cannot think of any real cons of this speaker. I hope in a year I can continue to say that.

Great way to connect to radio, etc. all over the house. The speaker has great sound, is small so it's out of the way, and is lightweight to carry around. Live the lng battery life.

I purchased the Bose SoundLink after listening to one at a friends house. I was impressed at the fullness of the sound, sourced from a smartphone over Bluetooth (it does support a direct cable link to the unit too). Pairing was a breeze, the unit notifies you when connecting and disconnecting, and announces which device, by name, it is connecting with. The SoundLink has decent weight to it, it feels extremely solid for a unit of it's size. It is extremely portable and would serve well in almost any location. For best sound results, follow the user manual tip; "Place the speaker's back near but not directly against a wall. Bass response decreases as the speaker is moved away from a wall." In my home, I place it on a window sill in the room I'm listening - with the back of the unit 2-3 inches away from the window. What's nice is you can easily adjust the results to your liking. If outside the home, I would expect most any hard surface would suffice. I have not used the SoundLink for other purposes such as phone calls, or connecting the source sound device directly to the unit through a USB to 3.5mm stereo cable. A friend mentioned the sound might be a bit better, but I haven't had a chance to verify this. Overall, I'm glad I made this purchase. The $200 price point is a bit steep for me, so I waited until it was on sale to purchase it.

The Bose Soundlink mini 2 is everything the the mine 1 was and more. More battery, speakerphone feature, better connector for charging. This speaker is the hands down the best speaker for its size and even bests out speakers that are larger. For use indoors, this speaker can't really be beat. I've listened to a lot of the Bluetooth speakers and always come back to the mini as the best small speaker out there. It's expensive, but compared to others out there, it's worth it.

I really like how the Bose speaker sounds as compared to its size. I wanted a small speaker, wireless/Bluetooth, and easy to set up. This one has it all!

Great room filling sound with good dynamic range. I use it with Pandora, video and audio from my Samsung pad, and anytime I just want to kick back and relax. It is a very sturdy build and the battery lasts forever. I like that it can hook up to 2 Bluetooth sources at the same time. If I'm listening to something on my pad and I get a call on my phone, it cuts right in. My only disappointment would be with stereo separation , but with a speaker of this size, it's an unreasonable expectation to get true sound field imaging. That being said, the sound is still rich and full.

This little speaker packs an awesome sound. I love the ease of setup, sound quality, volume and battery life. I use this in my office at work and it uses about 20% of the battery to play music at a reasonable volume for roughly 8 hours. I can listen the entire week without recharging. The charging stand is easy to use as well.

I tried to avoid Bose wireless speakers because of the premium price and they are not waterproof etc but unfortunately there is no equivalent in sound quality. I still couldn't believe the size vs sound and unbelievable bass it produces. This is the best in this product category period. You can charge with regular USB cable and the battery life is great. Connect your mobile to the displayed product in the store and see it for yourself.

This speaker is amazing. I found the amount of sound from such a small package to be almost unbelievable. And of course, being a Bose speaker, the sound is crystal clear. Connected easily to my iPhone with bluetooth. I also use a hard wire connection to an older TV I have with a lousy set of speakers and boy does it make that old TV put out some sound! A single charge seems to last for hours. Even after extensive playtime while washing and waxing the car, the charge was only down to 70%. You won't go wrong, of course, because it's Bose.

I upgraded the soundlink mini to soundlink mini 2, and i love the way it produces deep bass. The size is the same as the first , comes In two colors. Deep bass is what made me upgrade the product. Battery life is impressive and it connect to your iPhone and displays how much battery is left. Great sound with clarity. If you turn on the bass booster on your phone then soundlink will lower the volume to adjust the built in bass so that it doesn't distort. Bose recommends to turn off the bass booster on iPhone. But I keep it on for extra boost.

The Bose quality is clearer than any of the other brands. Other speakers I listened to sounded like a speaker put into a can. This one has some bass and volume. If you're a sound guru, then I don't know what my review will help. But for people looking for a good bluetooth speaker, I would highly recommend this one. I was never really a "carry my mobile speaker with me" kind of guy, but I've been taking this baby with me every time I leave the house. Honestly, you can't go wrong with thins one. You'll be very happy with it.
