Customer Ratings & Reviews

Works well and makes a good black and white print for letters and sheet music.

Pros: fast, cost effective laser cartridge, with copy and scan Cons: my old desktop computer has issues with connecting, but newer laptops are fine; it is a bit large and the user interface on the screen requires some self-training to figure out the commands; overall, a good sturdy machine. My prior one was a workhorse and lasted 15 years.

Easy set up, compact, and prints great. Couldn't download manual

Love this laser printer! So easy to use and fast printing! Would definitely purchase again!

Pleased. The print quality is optimal and very efficient

printing and scanning excellent .Easy to install . No power surge and printing remotely from phone.

Easy to operate prints really well. Was on sale great price

Most of our everyday home printing needs are for documents that need not be in color. Using a color inkjet printer for such jobs, which requires frequent replacement of costly ink cartridges, is frustrating and wasteful. A black-and-white laser printer is much more efficient and reliable, and this Canon printer fills the role nicely. As a bonus, it can do grayscale photocopying and will even scan in color. Its speed is more than adequate for home use. There is a fax feature that we have not used but will likely be needed at some point. Setup was a bit more complicated than expected, and shortly after the first use downloading of additional firmware was needed. The cryptic error message did not make it clear what was needed, so figuring that out took some time. Overall this is a good choice for home use.

It does everything it advertises very well. Quality build and easy to use.

It was easy to turn it up. It is not touch screen. It works properly.

great price and works great, looks good nice size and very easy to install

the printer is good and the very quiet, it print fast and it was easy to set up

My 84 year father needed a new printer since his inkjet dried up and clogged. He doesn’t print often so I suggested a toner printer. He loves it! Works great for his needs. I had set him up with a Chromebook about 3 years ago and was reluctant as to how difficult it would be to connect this printer. Not difficult at all. So simple and I had him up and running in less than an hour.

This was purchased to replace another one. My old one was a touch screen - I miss that feature in this one, but it’s a perennial performer. Great product for a small home office.

Work good very happy with. It’s quick and ezy to work with

I previously owned a brother laser printer. I had so many issues with that printer from the start. From connectivity to spooler issues, it was a nightmare. I bought this printer for 1/3 of the price and I absolutely love it. It connects to your wifi and done. Its easy for different people to connect to it. The memory I was scared to do the software update but did and still have no issues with anything. I recommend this printer 100%.

Print quality is very good. Easy-to-use and secure. Easy to setup.

So far so good, although I haven't printed too much as I generally don't need to.....and that's been the problem with my previous (HP inkjet) printer - I'd go to print and the cartridge was dried out, so it would basically cost me $25 whenever I needed to print something. This laser printer is significantly faster, prints on both sides, and don't have to worry about garbage inkjet cartridges. Had an issue with a corrupted Windows file that prevented installing the drivers (not the fault of this printer or software), but once I sorted that out, this was easy to get up and running. As long as this lasts and don't get bogus "low toner" messages, I'll be happy with this printer.

Easy to set up, like the scan and fax features. Responds well to all commands and input. Print boldness is less than desired but ok.

So far the printer has worked well. It was easy to set up using the step-by-step instruction manual. I expect several years of continued printing.
