I hired a local company to install it so I can’t speak to the installation. However, it was simply to get linked to the WiFi, and works great with my EV. 10/10 highly recommended.

Pretty simple install, 70 amp breaker, 50ft 6/3 copper stranded wire. Pretty simple common sense instructions. Just activate it in the app when you’re all done and start charging. Mine is a temporary install as we are building a garage this spring/summer and the charger will be moved inside there.

This does everything that I want it to do. It's a high quality charger that behaves exactly the way it should, the app is solid and intuitive, the setup was easy, and I have no complaints about the product or anything to do with it at all. 100% this is a fantastic charger. However, the item is listed as being able to go up to 80 amps. The price for this charger is similar to the price that you would pay for the 50 amp version of this at some other retailer, which is pretty cool. Except that it's just mislabeled. This is the 50 amp version of this charger. Again, The Price is Right for the 50 amp version, I have no complaints about the item or how it works or anything like that, but if you are looking to get 80 amps, you're not going to. That said, I wasn't really looking to go over 50 amps, anyway, but the price on this was the same, so I figured, why not?

Beware, ChargePoint won’t let you setup and configure this without an electrician that has been certified by them. Quite literally the “configuration” is connecting the charger to wifi and setting the max amperage. I worked with my electrician and did all the tech stuff for him. He did all the electrical stuff. But, if you have to get back in to redo settings they block you without a certified users login!! I chose to wipe the device and restart from initial config when there was an issue with the station losing access to my wifi. Not a nice thing for ChargePoint to do. Are we really supposed to pay an electrician certified by ChargePoint to come out and fix our wifi!?!? Not cool charge point, not cool.

Great charger so far. I think... First charge took 5 hr 45 m and added 49 kwh of energy to my F150 Lightning. Where I live that costs est. $5.39. Ford app says added 37% 122miles. I do want to say, for anyone who is ordering this specific one thinking its for a Tesla, just match up the model number in the specs. Ford F 150 (J1552) chargepoint model 99-003890-11. This one is also hardwired.

Works as expected - like that's a bit of a smaller profile. Not a great way to keep the cord wrapped up when not in use.

Great so far - charges the car faster than expected. Starts charging immediately after plugging into the car.

works pretty well, its future proof as the cable can be converted to NACS. the app and the cable are also pretty good. Emporia is cheaper but you can get discounts from your energy provider which made me choose this one

I’ll give 4 stars as the product does work. NOT A TESLA ADAPTER. The name is miss leading… this is a generic charger and you need a Tesla conversion adapter to make it work for Tesla. This is no different from the same product without TESLA in the product description.

I have never installed a EV charger before and have some DIY electrical experience around the house but charge point made the installation very simple. We had a 15-50 plug already in our garage, i just had to remove the plug, take 3 of the wires and connect the snap close connections on the charger and then cap the neutral wire. 10/10 for install experience, so far it is holding up well and the Benefit of 48A for the hardwired (with a 60A breaker) was worth the small amount of extra effort compared to the 40A limit in the plug in version.

It’s a game changer to have a level 2 charger at home. It was very straightforward for the electrician to install. The app is very straightforward to use well.

I had the GM charger installed previously. I replaced it with the Home flex and it charges faster and has more accurate tracking of energy usage. I recommend this product.

The item was hardwired into our garage, would connect to our car but would not charge. After about 10 hrs of dealing with chargepoint they sent a replacement. The new one is working but i’m out $300 for having the electrician reinstall the new unit. Im working with chargepoint to get reimbursed S

the fast charger is very good, gets to 80% reliably in the winter, and I appreciate getting to use it with an app so i can schedule the overnight charging at will.

The app is easy to use and allows to schedule charging at off-peak electricity hours. Charger is very sturdy and visually pleasing bonus - eligible for NJ rebate.

Solid home charger the software update had to be rolled back as it shut down charging to my car but good customer support.
