Detector worked right out of the box. No complicated setup required. The cordless feature is nice, too! Nice product.

The Escort SOLO S3 worked right out of the box. Having the unit cordless is pretty nice and setup was practically effortless. Only drawback is I wish the suction cups were made a bit more sturdier. I live in the southwest and the temp can be extremely hot on the unit if left attached to the windshield while parked for a period of time. Afraid the flimsy suction cups are going to wear out after a while.

A must have for driving in states were illegal. Can be put away quickly before seen by the law

I have had this now for 2 weeks and have already had to change the batteries. So beware, and have extras in your vehicle. The low battery alert only comes about an hour before they die. Other than that, it has been great for detection and alerting.

Battery operated makes this very convenient. Detects all types of radar.

This is my 2nd Escort Radar Detector - I love that it is cordless.

Really good radar for the money. Defenitly gets the job done.

I am very Impressed with the quality and the ease of use.

I wanted to get something wireless to clean up the cable clutter. Unfortunately there is nothing that will match, or even come close, to the performance of the Max 360. I loved the fact that I could sneak this into a corner and keep the windshield clear, but the range was significantly lower and I had far fewer alerts than the Max 360. Not for lack of police presence, but for lack of detection. The batteries also drain quite quickly and it wouldn't be uncommon to go through an entire charge in 4-5 days. That said, this is the best cordless detector on the market, but unfortunately it comes with quite a bit of compromise.

already have the 9500i. This doesn't have the range on battery but is mobile and don't have the room for additional mounting and wiring due to dash cam

This product is impressive from the start. I liked the sturdy case that comes with it and that it is wireless. Even if the batteries drain quickly.
