LOVE this recent upgrade! I’ve had every Vivofit model from inception. Very pleased with the functions & ease of use. I wanted a smart watch that wasn’t too complicated & this definitely fit the bill. Happily surprised that this watch will vibrate with incoming phone calls EVEN with my phone on silent. I’m notorious for accidentally missing calls so this has definitely helped me to know when my phone rings. Additionally, I can signal my phone to sound off if I happen to have it on silent & misplace it. I did purchase some aftermarket full-screen protectors on Amazon because I wear it with the face on the inside of my left wrist & am pretty rough on things.

I had the VivoSmart 4 for 3yrs before the battery started failing and I was so happy with it and the features i got the 5! And no drop whatsoever, I only have to charge it every 3-4 days and love all the features. #HighlyRecommend

Light weight and easy to use. It is more than i expected, this little watch has helped me get better sleep and losing weight. Most of all it is helping me understand my stress and i have been learning how to lower my stress. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Thing is great, for the most part. Offers most of the features of a watch style fitness tracker in a smaller package. Has Garmin's newest heart rate sensor and gives better sleep tracking with sleep score. GPS comes from your phone, which is fine for something of this size. You also get all of Garmin's data without the need of any extra monthly subscriptions, unlike Fitbit. The only caveat that makes this a 4 Star product is they removed the barometric altimeter from the VS4, which removes its ability to track stair climbing. It would also be nice if there was an always on feature for the OLED screen to read the time. If these things don't bother you, this is easily a 5-Star product.

I've had it for two years now. It covers a lot of health metrics for the price and is pretty durable for workouts and everyday wear. The unit can be taken out of the band for cleaning. Drawbacks: the touch screen can be finicky, especially if your body temp is up high or if anything is smudged on it. A few times the heart rate monitor has failed to pick up my heartrate accurately during a workout and once it froze in the middle of a strength training session so I couldn't use the set function and had to completely restart it to get it unfrozen. The band can irritate the skin on your wrist if you don't keep the underside clean and wear it too tight. I don't enable the PulseOx function so it's able to run about about 6-7 days between charges and charging it fully takes less than an hour.

Use it monitor my health, not for fitness workouts. Limited options for the display, but we got it around to something we like. Syncs with the android app easily.

Got this as a backup to my Withings watch. It is much better at measuring exercise (step counts, swimming laps) but much worse at measuring vital signs (overnight O2, heart rate). Definitely a decent backup, though, and I now wear it for exercise measurement purposes in addition to the Withings watch.
I am probably spoiled, but my Withings watch lasts for at least a week and up to a month, so the 2-3 days the Garmin manages is less than impressive.

It's not a bad watch. I like how long the battery lasts. It's small and skinny so doesn't get in the way. Wasn't super fond of having to download an app for it. Certain things require the app to be opened like if you want to track a specific activity or if you want to see your sleep score since everything has to sync from watch to phone. It's good if you want a minimal watch, but honestly I'm just going to get an Apple Watch. Apple Watch just works seamlessly with iPhone. Also - this watch has to be within like 30 ft of your phone for it to stay connected. It doesn't just work off the same wifi like the Apple Watch. Basically if you have iPhone, I recommend the Apple Watch. But the Apple Watch doesn't compare to this watch's battery life. This watch says great for athletic tracking but I disagree.

I have been wearing the Vivosmart 5 for over a month now. To my surprise, I have been wearing it 24/7 and have found it extremely informative and 99% of the time comfortable. When it does become a little uncomfortable, I take it off for about 20 seconds, put it back on, and adjust the band. Data I never tracked is now at my fingertips: heart rate, stress, body battery, and breathing rate. I have turned off almost all notifications, so the battery lasts more than a week per charge.

I'm a first time fitness tracker user. Purchased the vivosmart thinking it's an entry level device. I've had it almost a month and finding it of little use. The interface and the free app are poorly designed; the tracker especially is not intuitive, not logical. Functionally, tonight I was up and moving about the house for at least five minutes when the tracker buzzed and told me to get up and "Move." Really? That warning is usually the most helpful thing for me, prompting me to get out of a long walk. Battery life is very disappointing, so I turned off the oxygen reading. Sleep info - I had four hours of sleep one night and in the morning the device told me my sleep was "long and restful." Really? It's a neat toy, for the price and expensive toy. Yes, I will keep it because I'm not a fitness fanatic and I don't want to buy into the bit named world of personal tracking and I don't want monthly payments. The Garmen app, tho hard to understand is at least free and will link to my phone's GPS.

I absolutely love my new fitness watch. It's sleek and attractive while keeping time, noting activity, sleep, and tracking other health factors. Setting it up to sync with my Android phone was easy. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Super lightweight and not bulky. Wanted something simple to monitor heart rate and calories burned, and it’s perfect! Works well with my lose it app, and the sleep tracking is neat too.

So far, it’s good. Still trying to learn how everything works. Like the battery life a lot. Was used to FitBit Luxe so trying to get used to the different way that this Garmin functions. This was the closest thing I could find to the Luxe.

So far so good! It does everything I need. I used to have a Versa 1 and then a 2, but they kept having issues, but I liked it alot, however after so many problems, I wanted a more reliable device, particularly waterproof, and this one does pretty much all the same things. Very happy. And it looks nice.

I've had this for roughly a year now and I've gotta admit, it's not as good as the Vivosmart 4 was. It's been wildly inaccurate about my sleep, but everything else has been accurate... I do not sleep 48 hours a day, Garmin. Been toying around with the idea of upgrading it for the last few months, and I'm not sure I'll stick with Garmin. It's a shame, the Vivosmart 4 was incredible and I was able to prove that I had heart failure with it's help! Disappointing that this didn't live up to my expectations. Still, I was able to get other color bands on amazon so you're not stuck with the color you get, and it's accurate for other stuff... just not sleep for some reason or another.

This item had all the things accessible for my mom that loves being active. Not only she can track her heart rate, steps, and sleep. She has a gos on this watch and loves it! The watch was easy enough for her to learn to handle and has an amazing amount of battery. Thank you!!

Garmin vivosmart, I purchased was a gift for Daniel my boyfriend and father of the baby I am expecting. Dan likes Garmin vivosmart seems very helpful in tracking many of his activities during the day like foot steps heart rate etc..
