Mega Man X was one of the most pivotal games in the Mega Man Series, as well as 16-bit gaming history! The title brought to the table an old formula with a new look. We barely got a taste of these games originally so to have them all in one to relive once more is a true gem! Gotta get this one!

Huge fan of playing all the originals and really enjoy the improvements to the graphics and that you have them all in one place. First 4 are on cartridge, and the second are digital download just an FYI. Great games and a nostalgia blast.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 is an excellent compilation of 8 titles in the Mega Man series. Compiling over 15 years of titles in one package, this is a game that will sure to delight any old-school gamer familiar with the Mega Man franchise, or newcomers to the series as well.

Absolutely love Mega Man X! Mega Man X was a big part of my pre-teen & early teen years. I loved the characters, music and gameplay. It definitely took the regular Mega Man games to another level and gave them depth. And who could hate Zero! Love all the X games. They need to make an X9!

Everything else falls into place with all the Megaman X games put into 2 awesome collections. My only demand from the Nintendo Switch copy was Nintendo should've just made both collections accessible through 2 different cartridges, at the least, which was a bummer. Eitherway, if you're a fan of the blue bomber, this is a must-buy for you!

This mega man collection is great! As a big fan of the x series, this is a great price for all of the games included in this cart. Highly recommend this to anyone who is entering the mega man games, especially those who might not have enjoyed the traditional mega man games.

I'm a big fan of the mega man series and when I saw that the collection was on switch I had to buy. All the games play great. My only problem is that both collection aren't on one cartridge. The second collection must be downloaded.

The original Mega Man is more popular, but the X series is more fleshed out. It’s a good compilation game with a good amount of bonus content while adding the X Challenge mode allowing to fight two bosses at once. It also lets you play the Japanese versions. X3 is challenging which is a good thing.

As happy as I am to have the entire X series available on my Switch, the collection falls short of excellence for a few reasons. The second half of the collection being limited to a download code instead of a cartridge is infuriating. We have multiple Switch systems in our family, so we like to be able to share our game cards. When a game is only available as a download, that is option goes away. My other big issue is the lack of features that I consider pretty basic when emulating classic games at this point. There's no save state feature for instant file saves, instead relying on the original games' built in save menus. All in all, I'm glad I have the games, but I'm far from satisfied with this release.

The cartridge comes with Mega Man X–X4, and it has a download code for X5–X8. The collection as a whole has highs and lows, but for newcomers and veterans alike, playing through all eight games is a joy. The added content, where you fight two bosses at once, is also fun and difficult enough for hours of gameplay.

I love Mega Man X so this was a must buy. The X collection is on a cartridge, but the X2 collection is digital which kind of stinks. X-X4 are great, but X5 and after really went down hill.

Great for any Mega Man fans! Collection 1 is a physical cartridge and Collection 2 is a digital download code. A strange approach, but the same as the other Mega Man collection. The games themselves are super fun and entertaining.

I had gotten the compilations on PS2 and GameCube years ago. Here we are again this generation. I personally don’t mind that the 2nd part of the collection isn’t on card; import is an option. It’s worth owning yet again as it’s a reminder of gamings past.

His is a very good compilation of all the Mega Man X games made, X1-X8. This also includes the animated short, The Day of Sigma, that was included in the PSP Mega Man X Maverick Hunter game. Definitely a good value to enjoy all the games in the series.

All the games in this collections are great, definitely worth it. My only gripe is similar to what others are saying: the games are split, one on the physical Cartridge, one download only. That doesn’t make sense, I think capcom blew it here. Other than that, I love beer games and having them on a Switch

Easily the best Mega Man series gets a great collection. This includes SNES/PS1 perfect versions of Mega Man X 1-5, along wit the PS2 titles of X7 and 8. Well worth it for anyone who remembers the games, or who wants an amazing action platformer.

Honestly, I love how we have all 8 games, but why is the second 4 through a download code? Megaman Zero/ZX collection was able to put all their games on one cartridge. Still, $25 for all 8 games is pretty good.

This is the best way to play the classic Mega Man X games. Some weren't the greatest (like X7) but the rest are solid entries to the series. Only minor gripe: Mega Man X Collection 2 is just a download code and NOT contained on the cartridge.

Timeless platforming and action gameplay thats as good as old school gamers remember and classic enough to rope in new generation players. My only gripe is the first half of the collection is physical and the second is digital, would've been more convenient if both collections were either/or.

For those that are wanting a physical collection as opposed to a digital one, just know that this is NOT two separate carts, its' ONE and a download code. Regardless, it's exactly how you remember the Megaman X series all those years ago.
